    Full Stack Engineer

    Job Description

    • The Full Stack Engineer will oversee and contribute directly to backend and frontend development while leading engineering workflows and systems development across Purelife’s platforms. This role will coordinate closely with the Product Manager, UI/UX Designer, and engineers to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable systems aligned with your hybrid healthcare strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Leadership and Strategy

    • Define and execute the engineering roadmap aligned with product goals and scalability requirements.
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend systems across Purelife’s digital platforms.
    • Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of the architecture across web, mobile, and API systems.
    • Identify and implement best practices for system design, testing, and deployment.

    Full Stack Development

    • Actively contribute to backend services (Node.js, Python, or similar), RESTful API development, and database management.
    • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, Vue, or similar frameworks, ensuring responsive and user-centred interfaces.
    • Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways, telehealth APIs, and logistics platforms.

    Team Coordination and Collaboration

    • Coordinate engineering sprints in alignment with the Product Manager and UI/UX Designer.
    • Lead, mentor, and review the work of engineers to ensure adherence to standards and timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and customer success teams to align engineering outputs with business needs.
    • Maintain clear documentation and processes for system architecture, codebase, and workflows.

    Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

    • Implement testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices to ensure high reliability.
    • Proactively monitor system performance and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Gather user and system feedback to drive product and system improvements.

    Compliance and Security

    • Ensure systems meet healthcare data protection and privacy standards.
    • Implement and monitor security measures to protect user data and system integrity.

    First 60 Days Priorities

    • Audit and stabilise existing technical infrastructure and codebases.
    • Establish engineering workflows and sprints aligned with the product roadmap.
    • Deliver at least two major system improvements or feature rollouts within 6 months.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
    • Set up system monitoring dashboards for performance and security.
    • Build and mentor the engineering team for effective delivery.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, including 1–2 years in a technical leadership or senior developer role.
    • Proficiency in backend frameworks (Node.js, Python, or similar), frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar), and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
    • Experience with API-first architecture and third-party integrations.
    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
    • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare compliance (NDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.

    Job Description

    • You will develop and execute data-driven performance marketing campaigns across digital channels to drive user acquisition and revenue for Purelife’s hybrid services. You will manage paid media, optimise funnels, track performance metrics, and ensure measurable ROI aligned with our growth strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, and mobile ad networks.

This includes building and executing product roadmaps, optimising user experience, driving adoption, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve measurable product outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Vision and Strategy

    • Develop and maintain a unified product roadmap aligned with Purelife’s telemedicine, pharmacy, clinic, and microinsurance priorities.
    • Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product decisions.
    • Identify product opportunities supporting Purelife’s mission of affordable, accessible healthcare.

    Product Development and Delivery

    • Translate product goals into clear user stories, requirements, and workflows.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Integration & Execution (30%)

    • Oversee and align the day-to-day operations of clinics, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, and e-commerce fulfilment
    • Work closely with the Technology Lead to ensure smooth coordination between digital platforms and physical service delivery

    • The Head of Health Insurance will be responsible for launching, scaling, and managing Purelife Health’s insurance business. This includes designing and deploying affordable microinsurance products, building operational and claims infrastructure, developing partnerships, and leading regulatory engagement toward HMO licensure.
    • You’ll sit at the intersection of healthcare delivery, financial inclusion, and product innovation—translating Purelife’s ecosystem of services into insurable, high-retention health plans that drive value for both patients and the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product & Business Development (30%)

    • Design and launch microinsurance products tailored to low- and middle-income populations
    • Leverage existing Purelife services (e.g., pharmacy, diagnostics, telehealth) as in-network benefits
    • Test bundled care packages and employer/association models to drive adoption
    • Oversee pricing, benefits design, and risk-sharing mechanisms in partnership with actuarial support

    Strategy & Scale Planning (25%)

    • Define the roadmap to becoming a fully licensed Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO)
    • Develop a long-term business model for sustainable, scalable insurance operations
    • Identify and prioritise underserved market segments (e.g., SMEs, gig workers, informal sector)
