    Product Manager

    Job Description

    • The Product Manager will lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Purelife’s suite of digital products, ensuring alignment with your strategic goals across all verticals. This includes building and executing product roadmaps, optimising user experience, driving adoption, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve measurable product outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Vision and Strategy

    • Develop and maintain a unified product roadmap aligned with Purelife’s telemedicine, pharmacy, clinic, and microinsurance priorities.
    • Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product decisions.
    • Identify product opportunities supporting Purelife’s mission of affordable, accessible healthcare.

    Product Development and Delivery

    • Translate product goals into clear user stories, requirements, and workflows.
    • Oversee sprint planning, execution, and testing in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
    • Manage feature releases, ensuring user training and stakeholder alignment.

    User Experience and Data-Driven Optimisation

    • Work closely with the UI/UX Designer to ensure intuitive, consistent, and accessible interfaces.
    • Analyse product usage and customer feedback, driving iterative improvements to enhance user satisfaction.
    • Track and report product performance metrics to inform decision-making.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Liaise with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and customer support to align product priorities with organisational goals.
    • Ensure effective internal communication on product status, updates, and rollouts.
    • Facilitate feedback collection loops across teams for continuous improvement.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance

    • Ensure all products adhere to healthcare, privacy, and data security regulations.
    • Work with compliance teams to manage risk across product lifecycles.

    First 3 Months Priorities

    • Audit and map Purelife’s existing products to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Develop a clear, unified product roadmap for telemedicine, pharmacy e-commerce, clinic management, and microinsurance.
    • Build strong relationships with engineering, design, and operations teams for aligned delivery.
    • Lead delivery of at least one high-impact feature (e.g., telemedicine workflow refinement, e-commerce UX improvement) within 90 days.
    • Establish product metrics dashboards and reporting workflows.
    • Review and enhance existing product workflows to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in product management within healthcare, fintech, or platform-based businesses.
    • Proven track record of managing product lifecycles from ideation through delivery.
    • Strong data analysis and user research skills.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and sprint planning.
    • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient data protection.

    Performance Expectations

    Success in this role will be demonstrated by:

    • Building and executing a clear product roadmap within 6 months.
    • Delivering high-impact features aligned with user needs and business goals.
    • Using data and user feedback to drive iterative product improvements.
    • Ensuring effective collaboration across all departments for seamless product delivery.
    • Maintaining compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.
