    Stores/Warehouse Manager

    Job brief:

    Responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of warehouse/store including staff management, financial management, merchandising, ensuring best practices and meeting quality standards to achieve key results and support company strategies.

    He will also direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations and oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

    The role works closely with the Procurement/Purchasing department and Finance.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Ultimately should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly through effective receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.

    • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization and security/safety of the store. He is responsible for managing the assets of the store and equally ensure that sufficient inventory is available to avoid being “out of stock”.

    • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system, liaise with outlets/restaurants, suppliers and logistics to ensure timely supplies and distribution of items in wholesome and quality states in adherence to premium quality and safety rules and prepare annual budget.

    • Plan work roasters, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results of his team members. He must coach and motivate employees to optimal performances. He is to delegate responsibilities to his subordinates according to their specializations and extract the best out of them.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • A graduate of logistics, supply chain management or any field but relevant experience in warehouse management at a senior mgt level.

    •  Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases with Leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively.

    • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills

    Management Accountant

    Job brief:

    Responsible for working with company senior management in making upper-level management decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data to inform business strategy. He/She will oversee accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis.

    The role works directly with the Financial Controller

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • To perform a series of tasks to ensure the company's financial security, handling essentially all financial matters and thus helping to drive the business's overall management and strategy.

    • Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making, reconcile spending with budget as part of job costing and conduct risk assessment with corresponding advice on ways to minimize the risks.

    • Prepare financial statements for internal and external use as well as maintain records and support auditing efforts

    • Assist the company in managing its investment portfolio and assume responsibility of accounting procedures.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Knowledge of accounting terms and concepts, Understanding of finance regulations and legislation, Knowledge of business strategy and methodology, Analytical skills, Critical thinking skills, Organizational skills, Strong attention to detail, Strategic thinking and so on.

    • A graduate of accountancy with minimum experience of 8 years in management accounting in hospitality, Quick service restaurant or manufacturing industries. Professional accounting qualifications i.e ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA will be an advantage.

    • Ability to use accounting package and Microsoft applications like MS Excel, power point, word etc desirable. 

    • An excellent management accountant must have an exceptional mathematical mind combined with a strong business orientation. He/She must be able to assume responsibility of cost accounting tasks and be both a strategist and a decision maker.

    Factory Manager

    Job Brief:

    The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing all factory operations in order to meet business objectives, the management of daily operations including the Cakes production; Bread’s production and logistics end of the distribution to the various outlets/restaurants.

    Reports directly to the MD/CEO and Deputy Managing Director

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • The role oversees production planning, staffing, food safety requirements, compliance with regulatory and company requirements for personal and facility safety, raw materials sourcing and procurement, as well as efficient management of the logistics/distribution arm of the operations.

    • Identify and implement training and development for succession planning to ensure the necessary people skills and resources are applied currently and in the future.  

    • Set specific targets and timelines to achieve production goals, tracking results, providing feedback, and taking corrective actions as appropriate.

    • Is responsible and accountable for adhering to annual operations budget for the facility including ROI, Capital planning, payroll, operating costs and losses through forecasting, tracking and reporting. And also set continuous business development plans including identification and submission of capital and extraordinary maintenance projects to improve facility operations.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or other technical degree highly desired. Industrial plant related experience in a management role will be an advantage.

    •  Strong leadership abilities, communication skills and understanding of mechanical equipment and chemical process with ability to clearly communicate strategy and vision to team members.

    •  Training or relevant exposure in supervision skills, quality assurance systems, environmental and safety regulations with experience in the food industry preferred.

    •  Leading by example, demonstrating ethics and integrity and displaying drive and purpose.

    Learning & Development Manager

    Job Brief:

    Develop and administer training programs for employees, assesses training and development needs for organization, helps individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge, creates training manuals, presents in-person training sessions, monitors training for effectiveness and expands on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within the organization

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • The L&D manager will be expected to create training events for all employees, from initial inductions to leadership programmes for senior executives. This will entail him/her working closely with various leaders/HODs across the organization and having a full understanding of their units/department and training requirements.

    • Saddled with the creation and delivery of bespoke training programmes designed with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind with staple curriculums for all employees (i.e. values)

    • To fundamentally assist in the organization’s success, by coaching and developing its people and acting as the go to within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding training and development plans.

    • Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training as well as building relationships with 3rd party training providers.

    Skills and Competences:

    • First degree in related discipline with professional certifications is essential.

    • Good communication skills

    • Keen to assist people with their learning and development.

    • Experience in e-learning course design and budget management is desirable. 

    • Proven people management skills
