Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, and train security personnel on appropriate security rules and procedures
• Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures necessary for safeguarding lives and property
• Prepare and control the budget for security operations to ensure delivery of high quality security services
• Oversee the coordination of staff during an emergency situation
• Assign guard duties to security personnel to ensure effective distribution of workload
• Keep track of incidents in order to evaluate them and recommend a course of action
• Oversee the installation of safety alarms within and around building premises
• Schedule shift patrol to ensure a building/property is guarded at all times
• Implement safety and health policies and procedures to protect employees against workplace hazard
• Develop and manage the processes for securing classified and sensitive information
• Set up key controls on company equipment and facility to limit access to restricted property
• Order the supply of security tools and equipment required in carrying out security operations
• Prepare and present reports of incidents and ways to limit re-occurrence
• Liaise with public law enforcement agencies and fire department

Education and Training

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration or in a related course is required.
• At least 7 years work experience.
• Special training programs in senior security management provides a competitive edge (but not compulsory)
• You must be a resident of Lagos (preferably the Island or Environ).

Organizational Skill:

• Security operations manager must be able to coordinate and direct the security operations of an organization to ensure the safety of lives and property

Communication Skill:

• You are adept at communicating the security requirements of an organization to security personnel.

Interpersonal Skill:

• You are able to work with a team of security officers to ensure protection of a property.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Lagos Island and mainland
• Current riders permit
• Good knowledge of security supervisory role with evidence
• Minimum of SSCE
• Computer literate
• Good eyesight and ability to ride on highways
• Flexible and must be able to function in other security duties

Descriptions/Responsibilities:

• Transport and receive items quickly by motorcycle.
• Conduct confidential and rigorous vetting enquiries on behalf of the Company in support of the company’s vetting policies.
• To conduct spot-checks on individuals and monitor compliance with vetting policies within the organization.
• To device, develop and maintain a programme of vetting for all staff.
• All other related duties.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Job Description

• Follow all traffic laws
• Drive defensively to ensure safety
• Keep all windows in the car spotless
• Keep the interior of the car spotless
• Make sure there is always enough gas to get to the destination
• Keep accurate count of gas usage, miles, and other data
• Ensure that car maintenance is taken care of
• Ensure validity of vehicle documents at all times
• Inform appropriate Officer of the need to renew vehicle documents 2 weeks before expiration, and again a week before expiration if not yet effected
• Accurately follow the correct routes
• Carry out any other lawful tasks that may be assigned by management in the interest of the role and organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE
• Valid driver's license
• Must have all requirements for drivers in Lagos
• Have been driving for at least 7 years
• Great time management skills
• Great customer attitude and attentiveness
• Ability to operate a vehicle for 8 hours
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds
• Open to working nights and weekends
• Great organizational skills
• Other Non-Negotiable Requirements:
• Must be able to drive Manual Vehicles
• Must be between the ages of 35 and 50 years old as at last birthday
• Must be willing to travel inter-state at short notice
• Must be able to read and write
• Must have good knowledge of Lagos Routes and alternatives routes
• Must be able to use Google map discreetly.
