    Business Managers (Genesis Industrial Catering)

    A Business Manager for industrial catering oversees large-scale, high-volume food service operations for corporate, industrial, or remote sites, focusing on profitability, safety compliance (HACCP), and client satisfaction. They manage budgets, staff, menu planning, supply chain, and contractual obligations to deliver high-quality, efficient service. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Management: Direct day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, and delivery of food services, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
    • Financial Control: Manage operating budgets, control food and labor costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability and achieve revenue targets.
    • Business Development: Identify and convert new business opportunities within industrial sectors (oil & gas, manufacturing) and manage renewals for existing client contracts.
    • Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison with clients to understand requirements, address complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
    • HR and Staffing: Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, managing shift schedules and driving a high-performance, safe culture.
    • Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP and OSHA standards. 

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA is often preferred.
    • Experience: Proven experience (often 3-5+ years) in industrial catering, hospitality, or corporate food service management.
    • Skills: Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost control), leadership abilities, and Proficiency in MS Office and specialized catering software.
    • Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments

    Camp Boss (Genesis Industrial Catering)

    A Camp Boss manages the daily operations of remote work camps (oil, gas, mining, construction), ensuring efficient functioning of accommodation, catering, security, and maintenance for residents. They maintain high health and safety standards, supervise support staff, manage inventory/logistics, and ensure compliance with company policies, acting as the primary supervisor for all onsite facility services. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Management: Oversees daily camp activities, including housekeeping, catering, laundry, and maintenance services.
    • Safety & Compliance: Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) protocols, food hygiene, and HACCP standards.
    • Logistics & Inventory: Manages inventory levels, orders supplies (food, cleaning products), and manages the budget.
    • Staff Supervision: Leads and directs catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff, including scheduling and training.
    • Accommodation & Facilities: Allocates rooms, ensures proper maintenance of living quarters, and oversees utility systems like generators and water, as described on and in
    • Resident Welfare: Addresses resident complaints, manages catering quality, and provides comfortable living conditions.
    • Reporting: Prepares daily/monthly reports on food consumption, maintenance, and staff performance. 

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role or in hospitality management, often with a diploma or certification.
    • Leadership: Strong supervisory and communication skills to lead diverse teams.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of safety regulations.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in remote, high-pressure environments.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle emergency situations and resolve conflicts effectively
