    Heavy Duty Mechanic

    Job Responsibilities

    • To carryout mechanical and electronic diagnosis of faulty equipment.
    • To ensure drastic reduction in repair time/downtime of faulty equipment.
    • Effective maintenance culture to any equipment entrusted to your care.
    • Daily report on the equipment status entrusted to you.
    • Total compliance to organizational policy as regarding equipment’s.
    • To render useful advice to management when necessary.
    • Perform any other task assigned to him by the workshop manager.

    Qualification/Requirement

    • HND/BSC in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
    • A minimum 5 Years work experience
    • Ability to supervise and coordinate repair projects
    • Smart with good use of initiatives
    • Excellence communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship and eyes for details.

    Service Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Compiling, implementing and managing a suitable maintenance plan to ensure optimal availability and utilization of equipment by utilizing Zuma Maintenance Plan.
    • Directing and performance of maintenance work in installation, repair on mechanical and electrical system.
    • Organizing and undertaking routine checks of equipment as well as carrying out quality inspections.
    • Root cause analysis for failure of components/identifying and investigating faults.
    • Monitoring the performance of machinery and systems.
    • Co-ordinate and organize the routine servicing as, and when required according to OEM specifications.
    • To liaise with store department that servicing parts are available in advance of requirement.
    • Daily reporting and liaising with workshop manager on all breakdown and repair progress.
    • Perform any other task assigned to you by the workshop manager.

    Qualification/Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar area of study
    • 5 years’ relevant work experience
    • Demonstrable ability to use relevant tools and equipment
    • Experience in supervisory role
    • Excellent communication (Written & Verbal)
    • Computers Skills; MS Office and relevant technical software applications.
    • Mathematical and analytical ability
    • Problem Solving & Organization skills

    Mining Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Shall Plan Mine design and material management
    • Shall lead the implementation of short, medium and long-term business objectives of the company, preparing the business plan and performance reports with senior management on current and future initiatives for improved business performance.
    • Shall oversee all coal mining operation from design to development stage and issue report to the Executive management
    • To establish all resource requirements (financial, human capital, material, administrative and technical) needed to achieve the business objectives of the company
    • Shall drive the achievement of set and agreed production targets of the company.
    • Shall ensure that all company mining operations are in compliance with company approved SOPs, policies and processes.
    • To ensure optimal utilization of the company resources (facilities, equipment, etc.).
    • Shall oversee all technical aspects of operations by ensuring all mining and maintenance plans and procedures are strictly adhered to.
    • To ensure measures are put in place to mitigate operational risks and eliminate production losses.
    • To ensure global best practices (working in line with quality system management of ISO 9001) are adopted in the day to day operations of the company
    • Shall foster the learning, capacity building and development of every member of staff.
    • Shall ensure proper and prompt communication of information, resolutions, communiques and other relevant information to the staff of the company on a need to know basis.

    Qualification/Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (Advanced Degree is an added advantage)
    • 7-10 years’ relevant work experience in the mining industry
    • Demonstrable ability to use mining tools and equipment
    • Experience in management & supervisory role
    • Excellent communication (Written & Verbal)
    • Computers Skills; MS Office, ability to work with GPS and relevant technical software applications.
    • Mathematical and analytical ability
