    Account / Store Officer

    The Account/Store Officer is responsible for managing the school's financial operations and ensuring that there is adequate supply of materials and equipment. The Account / store Officer should be detail-oriented, and able to work well with a variety of stakeholders, including school leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.

    Reporting:

    To the head of school

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for managing the school's finances, including budget planning, forecasting, and tracking expenses.
    • Responsible for managing the school's inventory and purchasing supplies and equipment, which includes maintaining accurate records, comparing prices and quality, and ensuring that purchases are within the school's budget.
    • Responsible for managing the school's accounts payable and receivable, which includes processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring that payments are made on time.
    • Responsible for managing the school's cash, including maintaining accurate records of cash transactions, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring that there is sufficient cash on hand for school operations.
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, and financial statements.
    • Responsible for preparing financial reports for school leadership and other stakeholders, which includes analyzing financial data and presenting findings to inform decision-making.
    • Responsible for managing the school's assets, including equipment and furniture, and ensuring that they are properly maintained and accounted for.
    • Responsible for managing the school's store and ensuring that inventory is well-stocked, organized, and secure.
    • Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
    • Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
    • Handling queries related to accounts.

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • A bachelors degree in accounting
    • Minimum of 5 years proven work experience as an Account Officer.
    • Able to work well within a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
    • Solid analytical skills.
    • Detail-oriented.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.

    Human Resources Administrator

    JOB ROLE

    The Human Resource Administrator is a key role in the elementary school administration, responsible for managing the school's human resources function and ensuring that the school is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Human Resource Administrator  should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well with a variety of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and parents.

    Reporting:

    • To the head of School
    • Responsible for coordinating the recruitment process, which includes advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing employment contracts and documentation.
    • Responsible for ensuring that new employees are on-boarded smoothly and efficiently, which includes conducting orientation sessions, processing paperwork, and setting up employee profiles.
    • Responsible for processing internal arrangements such as travel, training sessions, and team-building events.
    • Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, etc.).
    • Communicating with recruiters and other external parties.
