Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces prior to beginning work.
• Fabricate, alter, repair, and maintain walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters, partitions, manholes, and other related structures or surfaces.
• Lays blocks or bricks following blueprints, plans, or drawings.
• Determines work requirements and sequence of masonry/tile assignments through review of work orders, plans, or drawings.
• Lay out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels.
• Mix cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, and/or hand tools.
• Cuts or breaks bricks and concrete using hammers, powered abrasive saws, paving breakers, drills, and/or hand tools.
• Mould expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
• Operates equipment, such as forklift, dump truck, and flatbed.
• Estimates materials and labour costs.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or OND is required
• Trade Test I, II & III certification is required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience is required
• Good hands-on practical experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of tile systems
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Good troubleshooting (defect identification) and rectification
• Good understanding of HSE (Toolbox-talk, JHA, Risk assessment) and customer service orientation.

• Knowledge of circular cutting machine and edging machine is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily routine checks of all electrical appliances and fittings in common areas.
• Daily routine checks on the water treatment plant panel.
• Daily checks of generators and ensure Generator(s) are in good working condition.
• Record and report any defective equipment and any electrical fault in the common area.
• Employ preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that common areas, and key facility systems are in good working order.
• Maintain the overall appearance and working order of the property.
• Perform electrical repair and / or replacement of all electrical defaults when need arises.

• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.

• Prepare all required material before heading to tenant’s apartment to ensure cost and time efficiency.
• Ensure that all Company tools and equipment utilized are correctly signed for, kept in excellent condition, regularly serviced, and kept secured.
• Ensure appropriate PPE is worn in workshop/field. Correct attire is the first impression we give to a customer and a mandatory safety requirement.
• Support other technicians in repairs- upon need, to help meeting KPIs and building a high performing maintenance team.
• Maintenance, installations and trouble shooting of all electrical issues.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Recording of jobs completely finished and signed by the manager both in reports and job cards.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

Responsibilities:

• Daily routine checks of all plumbing pipes and fittings in common areas
• Repair any plumbing-related leakages.
• Perform scheduled inspection on plumbing system and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair
• Carryout preventive add corrective maintenance on plumbing system, ensuring all systems are in good working condition
• Inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs for specified plumbing activities and make appropriate requisition to the Facility Manager
• Ensure all water systems and pipes in the facility are in good working condition; monitor and check water flow and temperatures
• Ensure water treatment plant i.e. Filter, aeration tank, dosing pump and transfer pump are functional; report any breakdown to Assistant Manager.
• Repair defective plumbing by locating the cause of the defect and correcting or replacing defective part, pipes or opening clogged drains
• Inspect all water treatment, storage and structures for infestation of pest, rodents and bugs and report all signs of infestation to the Facility Manager for immediate treatment.
• Ensure sewage systems, lift station, blowers and chemical closing pump are functional at all time.
• Prepare requisition list for materials required to execute planned maintenance tasks.
• Take reasonable care of my own safety.
• To take care of all equipment and PPEs in their possession.
• Inspect, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, and sprinkler, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, etc.

• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
• Detect needed repairs in common areas, building surroundings, and equipment following established inspection procedures.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
