    Project Engineering Manager

    Job Summary

    • Plans and manages all aspects of project engineering, development, and implementation including technical studies, cost/budget estimates, scheduling and work plan development, and project performance. 

    Main Responsibilities

    • To be in constant liaison with the internal and external stakeholders including host communities where applicable to ensure uninterrupted implementation of the project
    • Resourcing the Team with suitable personnel and ensuring their continued motivation.
    • Coach and mentor direct and indirect subordinates in the act of project management
    • Coordinate proper closeout of projects, delivery of closeout reports, and associated documentation including lessons learned.
    • Driving standardization and replication of equipment across the Company.
    • Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned.
    • Provide oversight support for assigned projects including real-time presence and coordination during construction, renovation, repair, or equipment installation.
    • Conduct promptly, the annual assessment of all direct subordinates and make input to the assessment of indirect subordinates.
    • Liaise with the cost and planning team to ensure that the cost of the project and integrated schedule are adequately monitored and where necessary, recovery [plans are in place and applied to avoid overruns and keep project costs within budget and schedule.
    • Work closely with operations control, safety, environmental, land, procurement, accounting, construction inspection, scheduling
    • Provide project management, project controls, and technical support for the operation and construction
    • Responsible for project management and construction efforts, participated in hiring and supervised contract project inspectors and contract multidiscipline project engineers during various projects as well as interfaced with Operations, Technical Service
    • Accountable for all project controls including: final cost estimation, scheduling, cost forecasting, procurement, project accounting and financial coding, project documentation and close

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering/technical discipline.
    • 20+ years of experience leading multidiscipline teams of professional Engineers in corporate and field environments with minimum 10 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
    • Experience in capital investment planning, project management, and managing stakeholders’ challenges.
    • A background in the engineering design, contracting & procurement and risk management will be an advantage

    Senior Drilling Contract Engineers

    Job Description

    Main Responsibilities

    • Conduct all stages of the procurement process for the goods and services covered, in compliance with the general framework
    • Preparation and handling of Call For Tenders from Strategy confirmation to Recommendation to Award.
    • Preparation and handling of all contractual documents from Letter of Award to Contract Signature.
    • Preparing presentations and presenting to various contract committees and internal boards

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • At least 10 years’ experience in managing equipment and service provision contracts and associated tendering processes for Drilling and Completion activity.

    Senior Reservoir Engineer

    Job Summary:

    • Provide reservoir-engineering (RE) skills, resource, processes, and standards for opportunity framing, definition, management and reporting of oil and gas fields for continuous value creation and realization throughout their lifetimes.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Plan and execute RE evaluation and interpretation by integrating available geoscience and engineering data to construct robust reservoir models for optimum field development planning and management.
    • Assess, plan, design and supervise petroleum-engineering data acquisition (e.g., fluid samples, pressure survey, etc) by value of information for optimum field evaluation, development, and management.
    • Provide RE support for the estimation, classification, and reporting of petroleum resources per industry guidelines and relevant input for economic evaluations to maximize profits and minimize unit development and operating costs.
    • Contribute to the Business Planning process per production/injection forecasts, work programs, and budgeting. Ensure timely alignment and approvals of internal and external stakeholders (including partners, Board, NUIMS, NUPRC, etc.)
    • Ensure a world-class RE database that is third-party verifiable, including providing relevant inputs into E-well book, asset reference and other documents.
    • Construct and maintain fit-for-purpose 1D/2D/3D reservoir-simulation and integrated production system models.
    • Deliver RE scope of well proposals, well programs, end-of-well reports, data gathering campaigns, well intervention, etc. Ensure seamless integration with subsurface, well engineering, operations, and finance alike.
    • Drive RE scopes of well, reservoir and facility management (WRFM), field reviews, production-system optimization, etc.
    • Work out discipline-specific guidelines and procedures to ensure all work is carried out safely adhering to best industry practices.
    • Share knowledge with internal and external stakeholders, including coaching, refereed conference proceedings and peer-reviewed journals.

    Qualification and Experience

    • A minimum of BSc degree in Engineering or related discipline
    • A minimum of 12 years’ demonstrable reservoir-engineering experience in the exploration and production industry
    • Track record in field development planning/execution and wells, reservoir, and facility management.
    • Awillingnesstoundertake frequent and sometimes extendedvisitstofieldlocations.
    • Exceptionally good competency in reservoir modelling/simulations, WRFM, field execution and business planning
    • Strong skill set in analytical reservoir engineering.
    • Good knowledge of the estimation, classification, and reporting of resource volumes per industry standards such as Nigerian National Standard, Petroleum Resource Management System, etc.
    • Conversant with industry standard discipline software e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE, navigator, Saphir, IAM, GAP, PVTi, PVTsim, MBAL, etc
    • Fluency in written and spoken English language.

    Senior Project Engineer

    Job Summary:

    • Execute engineering on a variety of capital / facilities modifications and upgrade as well as pipelines projects in a shallow water offshore terrain from project initiation through Assess/Feasibility Phase, through Concept Select, Define and Execution phases until hand over to Asset Operations Team.
    • Support the Project Managers by implementing and applying engineering techniques within project life cycle process.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Follows Company Project Management framework; company approved design standards, policies, procedures, programs.
    • Provide own discipline input into the development of scope of work, technical specifications, execution strategies and tender documents as well as contractor/vendor proposals reviews.

    • Make input to pre-commissioning/commissioning plans, project closeout reports and ensures accurate documentation of files, records, databases, and drawings to meet regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinate and compilation of bid and procurement packages. Drive discipline input into project delivery and execution timely execution and within schedule, budget, and quality.

    • Identify areas of potential slippages and proffer mitigations
    • Participate in the preparation of project milestone reviews and funding.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • Must have 6 years to 10 years of related experience in a similar tactical/capital project engineering role (in pre-FEED, FEED, detail engineering or EPC). Experience in oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects will be an advantage.
    • Experience in primary discipline engineering design, procurement of major equipment, construction, and commissioning activities within a major project team execution.
    • Registered Professional Engineer
