    Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical

    We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical to join our West Africa Operational Organization based  in Kogi State, Nigeria

    Your role and responsibilities:

    As a Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical, your daily duties include but are not limited to:

    • Ensuring Safe work practice for the team, Agreement process way of working,
    • Good knowledge of WECS & UNIC systems to Minimizing engine MTBF
    • Problem solving by RCA method.
    • Ensuring maximum Availability, Reliability, and PLF of Gas engines Responsible for all Mechanical maintenance related activities of the power plant.
    • Responsible for the timely completion of Major overhauls with zero reworks.
    • Responsible for all activities related to the operations and maintenance of the Power Plant.
    • To implement plant operations/maintenance schedules and procedures.
    • To maintain MIS such as logs and records of normal operations of plant & safety documents.
    • To efficiently handle shutdowns, start-ups, and other operational disturbances.
    • To ensure uninterrupted quality power to the customer.
    • To ensure the financial performance of the contract.
    • Turbocharger maintenance experience is an added advantage.

    Requirements for the role:

    • B.ENG/BSc in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
    • 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in Gas / HFO-based multi-engine power plants.

    Maintenance Supervisor Electrical

    We are looking for a Maintenance supervisor Electrical  to join our West Africa Operational Organization based  in Kogi State, Nigeria

    What will you be doing:

    Your work will focus on these main responsibilities:

    • Plan, lead and manage daily maintenance activities at the plant and/or assigned team to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost and time targets.
    • Ensure maintenance reliability and availability of the plant according to contract.
    • Planning and implementation of all Maintenance activities related to the power plant with precision.

    Store & Logistics Officer

    We are looking for a Store & Logistics Officer to join our West Africa Operational Organization based  in Kogi State, Nigeria

    Your role and responsibilities:

    As a Store & Logistics Officer, your daily duties include but are not limited to:

    • To handle all plant related store keeping and Logistics activities.
    • To Liaise with the PCM and logistic team on spare parts ordering, shipments, and accurate deliveries at site to meet maintenance schedule requirements.
    • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods, purchase orders and invoices.
    • Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
    • Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
    • Pack, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
    • Maintain logistics data to relevant systems to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
    • Perform other routine office activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
    • To plan and schedule logistic movements for the plant as directed by the Plant Manager
    • To actively participate in the Continuous Improvement Process (developing quality, delivery, safety, and methods).
    • Keep the store or warehouse area in clean-cut condition according to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics (5S practice). - Coach and develop other colleagues in daily work.
    • Keep adequate inventory and records of all tools on site.
    • Ensure all tools are properly maintained and kept in best condition for immediate use.
    • Ensure proper tools calibration and maintain adequate records of same within agreed frequencies.

     Requirements for the position:

    • 3-5 years of similar experience preferably in Power Plant.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
    • Proficient MS Office knowledge

    Agreement Manager

    We are looking for an Agreement Manager to join our West Africa Operational Organization based  in Kogi State, Nigeria

    Main responsibilities:

    • Responsible for building strategic partnerships with assigned customers.
    • Enforce conformance to QHES policies and procedures in own responsible area.
    • Lead, manage, train, coach and ensure competence levels for the team of plant managers.
    • Responsible for making lifetime forecasts and annual budgets/estimations for the agreements.
    • Manage Customer Relationship Management and customer satisfaction.
    • Carrying out Wärtsilä's obligations in the service agreement in accordance with the service agreement, the Wärtsilä Energy Agreement Management process and general management practices in a safe and cost effective way in order to ensure quality of work
    • Monitoring that customer complies with its obligations in the service agreement and conduct customer communication
    • Prioritising actions that lead or contributes to increased customer satisfaction
    • Continuously exploring ways to create more value for customer and customers business
    • Leading continuous performance improvement plan and related business case for enhanced reliability and efficiency of the plant (upselling)
    • Develop understanding for own organization what is required to ensure renewals of contracts (renewal)
    • Ensure that competence assessments and development plans are conducted (internal and external)
    • Planning, budgeting and managing result for the work under the service agreement
    • Optimising assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc tied to the service agreement
    • Communicating with relevant internal and external stakeholders as per Agreement Management-, Agreement Sales-, Service Projects Sales-, Parts, Field Service and Package Sales Procedures
    • Managing disputes arising with the customer under the agreement, including leading the internal team involved in supporting the dispute resolution
    • Monitoring Wärtsilä's compliance with laws during the execution of the service agreement, including trade sanctions
    • Monitor receivables situation, investigate reason for non-payment, make action plan and involve internal stakeholders as required in order to ensure payment in time by the customers

    Requirements:

    • 10 years of Power Plant experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
    • English Fluency is a must.
    • Ideally candidates from Marine or Energy Sector.
    • Knowledge in Operation and maintenance activities of the plant.

    Shift Supervisor

    • Identify and actively seek to improve operational reliability and availability of the plant.
    • Follow-up and optimise the operational costs of the plant.
    • Develop the operation working routines at the plant.
    • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
    • Approve maintenance time schedule taken into consideration operational requirements of the plant.
    • Perform the Risk Assessment prior to start any maintenance work
    • Observe & ensure each employee using the PPE's.
    • Review the work progress at the end of the day & ensure the progress is as per plan and ensure zero rework.
    • Apply trouble shooting skills to solve O&M problems.
    • Read and circulate Technical bulletins, safety and quality flashes to enhance the knowledge and share with team.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Operation Manager from time to time.

    We are looking for an Operation Manager to join our West Africa Operational Organization based  in Kogi State, Nigeria

    Main responsibilites

    • Approve maintenance time schedule taken into consideration operational requirements of the plant.
    • Ensure that the Risk Assessment is properly implemented prior to start any maintenance work
    • Administration and training of skilled and motivated maintenance personnel to assure good teamwork.
    • Observe & ensure each employee using the PPE's.
    • Review the work progress at the end of the day & ensure the progress is as per plan and ensure zero rework.
    • Apply trouble shooting skills to solve Operations & Maintenance problems
    • Read and circulate Technical bulletins, safety and quality flashes to enhance the knowledge and share with team.
    • Ensure the implementation of technical bulletins at site within specified timeline.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Agreement Manager as required.

    Requirements:

    • MS/BSC Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or related Engineering educational background.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant industrial experience, Operation experience requirement in GAS/HFO power plant and its auxiliaries.
    • We are seeking for an expert professional with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values, and company policies applicable as employee and/or the position.
    • Continuously seek for solutions keeping a customer focus mindset.
    • Understanding of Wärtsilä business, quality, and workplace safety is a plus.
