    Branch Accountant

    Job Description

    • As a Branch Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting the branch’s financial health. 
    • You will work closely with branch managers and the central accounting team, contributing to financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.

    Core Responsibilities Include

    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the branch, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flow, and prepare balance sheets.
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
    • Liaise with branch management and central accounting team to analyze financial data and support business decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements at the branch level.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Counting of stock (weekly, monthly, quarterly), stock reconciliation and sign off. Daily recounting of stock
    • Preparation of daily sales report and reconciling with cashier and storekeeper registers
    • Monitoring of cash lodgments and other deposits to bank
    • Preparation of monthly bank scheme and bank promo report to head office finance for credit note in favour of the branch
    • Confirmation of lto and lti issued and weekly sign off by accountant, storekeeper and manager
    • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation for various banks and flagging of lodgments not credited by customers or to suppliers.
    • Preparation of branch monthly payroll
    • Weekly preparation of imprest and imprest analysis report
    • Make audit returns - sales invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, tellers, etc.
      Monthly preparation of the following:
    • Schedule of goods returned to cwh with grn confirmations received & including lti
    • Interbranch supply - confirm that credits have been received by all branches releasing goods
    • Maintenance and report on inter branch/head office current accounts to head office finance
    • Confirmation of goods received from central warehouse or from hub warehouses
    • Weekly stock count reconciliation and report submitted to audit, signed off by accountant and storekeeper
    • Monthly preparation of grn and the schedules for local purchases sent to audit.

    Required Experience / Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2nd Class Degree in B.Sc. / HND in Finance, Accounting or any other related field (Membership of a recognized professional body i.e. ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

    Store Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Store Officer is responsible for the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. 
    • This role involves overseeing inventory control, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the security and safety of all stock.

    Key Responsibilities
    Receiving and Inspecting Goods:

    • Receive incoming goods, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
    • Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the relevant departments.
    • Prepare receiving documentation and update inventory records accordingly.

    Warehousing and Storage:

    • Properly store goods in designated areas according to warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
    • Ensure proper stock rotation to minimize spoilage or damage.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

    Inventory Control:

    • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during stock checks.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the company's inventory management system.

    Order Fulfillment:

    • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
    • Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
    • Coordinate with transportation providers for timely delivery.

    Warehouse Security:

    • Implement and maintain appropriate security measures to prevent theft or damage to stock.
    • Monitor access to the warehouse and ensure all personnel comply with safety regulations.

    Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and stock movements.
    • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any other relevant data.

    Other Duties:

    • Assist with any other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Logistics Supervisor.
    • Comply with all company policies and safety procedures.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Nysc Certificate
    • Must within the area
    • Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
    • 1-3years of experience in a warehouse environment.
    • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items.

    Marketing Operations Executive

    Responsibilities
    Campaign/Event Support:

    • Plan, coordinate, and support execution of BTL marketing campaigns/events across channels, ensuring timelines are met.
    • Provide dedicated support to event managers and recruited vendors to deliver exceptional activity outcomes
    • Manage marketing calendars to align BTL activations with product launches, promotions, and events.
    • Support the marketing team with handling ad-hoc field tasks

    Communication Asset Management:

    • Administer, monitor and optimize deployment of ALL company assets (Hired and owned digital boards, hired and owned static boards and any other for optimal outcomes).
    • Ensure proper tracking, and reporting on performance of deployed platforms/assets (Digital boards, static boards, innovations deployed on our behalf).
    • Provide periodic reports on assets to engage with vendors for claims
    • Identify and present innovations for consideration to improve marketing efficiency

    SIMS Digital Center Brand Standard Management:

    • Track and monitor brand collateral deployment physically at ALL SIMS DC and track off-site locations
    • Make recommendations for necessary update, repairs and replacement as considered necessary.
    • Track mismanagement/mishandling of placements for consequence management.
    • Manage costing process to approval point

    Field Data gathering, Analysis & Reporting:

    • Track and analyze DC performance on the basis of shopper engagement for insight generation.
    • Identify relevant performance metrics for tracking/reporting performance.
    • Support the planning and execution of surveys across trade channels
    • Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms and tools where applicable.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness.

    Process Optimization:

    • Develop and document standardized processes for campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Coordinate between internal teams (creative, sales, 3P) to ensure seamless communication and task alignment.
    • Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

    Budget Management Support:

    • Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and campaigns/activations stay within allocated funds.
    • Work with finance teams to reconcile invoices and vendor payments.

    Marketing Engagement:

    • Be the first point of call for marketing field resource requirement

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
    • 4-6 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related role.
    • A strong field activation background would be an advantage
    • A jack/Jane-of-all-trades mentality: Willing and ready to get up and go at short notice.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate, interpret data and provide insights. Make sense of a jumble of ideas

    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

    Assisting Accountant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and processing transactions
    • Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers.
    • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
