    Field Training Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To enable Operations’ capability to deliver operational excellence

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
    Training & Development:

    • Align and ensure adaptation to Food Concepts’ management style, culture and core values
    • Participate in planning and execution of formal and advanced training for operations team
    • Identify, evaluate, and analyse problem areas impacting Operational excellence and proffer solutions
    • Help maintain the highest level of operational excellence in Operations by identifying barriers to service and advising solutions to fix them
    • Develop the Field Trainers to ensure consistent team learning and continuous improvement
    • Monitor and report on key capabilities opportunities in stores and advise interventions and ensure the desired impact of the Learning and Development framework
    • Build robust mix of training capabilities including but not limited to instructor-led training, in-market training, and virtual-based training, adapting instructional materials to varying audiences and formats
    • Research, develop and continuously improve training programs and curriculum for new and existing store personnel, in collaboration with Operations Managers,
    • Co-ordinate Operations’ graduate trainee /OMEGA programs
    • Monitor and assess the status of learning programs of Graduate Trainees / Omega for areas of improvement
    • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
    • Conduct regular needs analyses to identify both the needs of the organization and the needs of employees and deploy bespoke or standard interventions to ensure that the organization is fully enabled to succeed and to contribute to the Employee Value Proposition
    • Provide feedback to training participants and management
    • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
    • Collaborate with Operations Managers to develop their team members through career pathing
    • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
    • Prepare and present reports of Field Training KPI
    • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
    • Market and encourage participation in various training programs organised by FC
    • Market the training centre facility to companies in Private and Public sectors
    • Identify and promote best practices, incorporating into training plans and materials
    • Build positive and achievement-oriented working environment for employees.
    • Oversee the Field Trainer’s calendar, communications and workshop materials
    • Promote effective training and development and good managerial behaviors by developing and maintaining teamwork and a positive climate
    • Anticipate operational training risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by Line Manager

     Compliance:

    • Responsible for modelling and acting in accordance with the companies guiding principles
    • Ensure adequate compliance to all company policies, internal control processes and approved food processes
    • Ensure all Health and Safety standards are delivered and met
    • Refresher training is implemented as per company guidelines

    Job Specifications
    Educational Requirements:

    • A good degree in Education, Business or Finance or any relevant field

    Professional Requirements:

    • HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior HRCI Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or any other related professional qualification is essential

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Knowledge of technical trainings, online learning modules and technical course materials
    • Basic knowledge of administrative task(s) i.e. monitoring costs, setting up systems and equipment
    • Demonstrates good communication and research skills
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm for lifelong learning
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. i.e Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

    Decision Expectations

    • Develop training modules to suit or meet the organisation goals
    • Develop innovative ideas to meet changing training needs
    • Review training needs from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials

    Working Conditions:

    • Jobholder typically works 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although this role may involve working overtime, if there is a workload.
    • There may be a need to extend work hours if he/she need to conduct additional training sessions or participate in various meetings to improve training.
    • This role is largely office-based.

    Financial Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • To provide in-depth financial and business analysis, support strategic decision-making, and drive margin improvement through accurate reporting, cost optimization, and insightful financial modelling.
    • This position works collaboratively with other cross functional teams to obtain the information needed to identify areas of action for driving successful business results.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
    Financial Analysis:

    • Analyse detailed financial information along with current and past trends in key performance indicators to provide accurate and timely financial and operational in-depth analysis.
    • Support the financial analyst to drive margin improvement through accurate financial information and analysis.
    • Present reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and whole industries.
    • Creating financial models on performing business units, customer, competitors and cost analysis
    • Work closely with the financial analyst on any ad-hoc analysis required for management.

    Business Analysis and Research:

    • Recipe costing and pricing analysis
    • Regularly update raw material prices to hedge against inflation
    • Conduct business studies, review accounts, vendor reports, contractual terms, prices and market oscillations.
    • Perform budget and cost analysis, reviewing and advisory of financial status.
    • Consult and participate in studies of new and existing products/projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Quality of business recommendations
    • Increase in revenue attributed to solutions/recommendations
    • Profitability of findings from business studies
    • Decrease in cost attributed to solutions/recommendations

    Job Specifications
    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

    Professional Requirements:

    • Membership of ICAN/ACCA or any other related professional qualification is required.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as financial analyst, business analyst or similar role.
    • Experience in a QSR company in a similar role is an asset.

    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Demonstrates good research, quantitative, and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Presentation and Excel Skills
    • Develop insightful presentations and slides with data.
    • Exceptional financial modelling and scenario analysis skills, with an expert understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    SCD Inventory Associate

    Inventory Management:

    • Assist the inventory Manager in day-to-day management of inventory accounting.
    • Assist in collation of , inter-store/ inter-branch transfer Note and Shipment report from the warehouse to QSR locations
    • Assist in monitoring daily stock movement i.e Inter-store transfers
    • Prepare journals entries for inventory consumptions
    • Assist in determining daily/weekly/monthly consumption of all direct cost, Diesel Usage, Gas consumption & General Consumable.
    • Participate on reconciling store by store Cost of Sales, Diesel, Gas & General consumables reconciliation with store managers
    • Perform monthly price update of GP template used in the store
    • Assist in monthly stock count preparation and collation of reports 

    Analysis and Reporting:

    • Reconcile stock count sheet with GP report from QSR stores
    • Assist in preparing stock count report for management decision
    • Assist in reconciling inventory ledgers with the inventory valuation report
    • Prepare change Price impact on gross profit report.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Timeliness of stock usage and variance analysis
    • Timelines of cost of sales report for monthly profit or loss
    • Timeliness of monthly stock count report Accuracy of the inventory valuation reports

    Job Specifications
    Educational Requirements:

    • A good first degree (BSC/HND) in Accounting or Finance

    Professional Requirements:

    • Membership of the ICAN ACCA would be an added advantage

    Experience Requirements:

    • 2-3 years’ experience in accounting field.

    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Basic accounting knowledge of double entries, stock controls and stock management Knowledge of various inventory methods

    Decision Expectations

    • Monitor daily stock movement
    • Reconciles inventory ledgers with inventory valuation report

    Working Conditions:

    • Jobholder typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some roles may involve weekend or evening work.
    • This role is largely office-based, although at times the job may require travel to meetings held off-site, or speaking on the phone.
    • Jobholder must be exact in their work and be sure all details such as the stock/ asset report is accurate or void of errors, hence, the job is one to be under the best conditions.
