    NYSC Interns Customer Service Assistant

    A Customer Service Assistant typically assists customers with various inquiries and issues, aiming to ensure satisfaction. They handle phone, email, and online inquiries, resolve complaints, provide product information, manage accounts and collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls

    • Generate sales leads
    • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions and documents
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Take the extra mile to engage customers
    • Support Day-to-Day handling of customer support ensuring timely responses and issue resolution
    • Build and maintain effective relationships, establish strong and positive relationships with key client contacts to provide excellent customer service.
    • Liaise and collaborate with other internal teams to address and resolve client queries and business challenges
    • Monitor and escalate inquiries by tracking the progress of customer inquiries and escalate unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
    • Contribute to internal documentation and assist team lead in understanding and handling issues professionally.

    Requirements

    • First degree in Social Sciences or any relevant discipline; MUST have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC) as at date of application.
    • 0-1 year of experience in customer-facing preferably in sales.
    • A passion for solving problems, and delivering excellent service.
    • Great communication skills, especially when responding to customer emails and inquiries.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work issues under pressure.
    • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • A proactive attitude, always looking for ways to improve processes and deliver even better customer experiences.
    • A desire to learn and grow in customer support and success roles.

    Human Resources (HR) Assistant

    Responsibilities 

    • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and preparing employee documentation.
    • Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance data.
    • Support payroll preparation and processing activities.
    • Organize and manage employee training and development programs.
    • Address employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
    • Assist in organizing company events and team-building activities.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
    • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
    • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager 
    • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
    • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
    • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
    • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
    • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
    • Communicate with public services when necessary
    • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
    • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
    • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
    • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database

    Requirements

    • Bachelor\'s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Able to quickly assimilate new technical knowledge and interested in building a career with a growth-oriented company.
    • Solid organizational and planning skills.
    • Good command of English.
    • Commercial acumen and the ability to promote a technical solution as a value-for-money exercise
    • Computer literacy, especially with regard to modern scientific user interfaces, document and presentation preparation and report writing
    • An understanding of business management systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of a CRM tool is an asset
    • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

    Operations Assistant

    An Operations Assistant plays a key role in the smooth running of a company\'s day-to-day operations. The job involves a wide variety of tasks, such as managing resources and monitoring work schedules.

    Responsibilities 

    • Ability to coordinate and make compliance with standards a major objective
    • Work closely with the operations manager to ensure that processes runs smoothly

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Superb organizational abilities
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • Relevant training and/or certifications as an Operations Assistant
    • Coordinating skills
