    Senior Technical Project Manage

    Job Summary

    The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules, and services. He/She sets milestones for each project, and coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services and in turn, enhanced client satisfaction

    Job Details

    •  Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to final client hand-off.
    •  Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team.
    • Collaboratively adapt existing and develop new project plans, processes, and communication standards for the operations teams.
    • Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project.
    • Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
    • Own the communication and execution of solution handover to client services, service delivery, technology, and other team members at designated milestones.
    • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
    • Develop and utilize project plans to track progress, and communicate weekly updates to clients.
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
    •  Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
    • Perform regular risk management.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and third-party vendors.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Collaborate with other members of the project management team and staff to ensure the operation of systems and vehicles.
    • Report and escalate project challenges to management as needed.
    • Assists with proposal efforts including project scoping, level of effort assessments, and project plan development.
    • Identifies business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project or brand.
    • Gathers project business, marketing, and technical requirements to develop project estimates and SOWs; familiarity with contract and agreement processes.
    • Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
    • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
    • Responsible for logging accurate time against projects in a timely manner
    • Tracks and reports team hours and project expenses
    • Communicate actual vs. estimated hours to the leadership team
      ▪ Monitors and manages project budget
      ▪ Facilitates change logs and change orders to allocate additional budget when applicable
      ▪ Gains an understanding of our pricing model and billing procedures to manage project finances efficiently
      ▪ Leadership and oversight of the project management team

    Requirements

    • A degree in  Engineering, Business, or other discipline related to software engineering.
    • Professional Qualification in ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE II is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience as a project manager focused on technical implementations
    • Experience with cloud-based solutions is a plus
    • Knowledge of software delivery methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum
    • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
    • Working with teams that use the following software/tools:
      ▪ Modern programming languages: Java, Python, etc.
      ▪ Infrastructure automation technologies: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform etc.
      ▪ Build automation technologies: Maven, Jenkins, etc.
      ▪ Monitoring technologies: Nagios, Tivoli, SCOM, etc.
      ▪ Building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
      ▪ Creating a distributed streaming or messaging layer using QPID, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
      ▪ Scripting languages like Python, Perl, Shell, etc.

    Transaction Settlement and Monitoring Officer

    Job Summary

    As a transaction settlement and monitoring officer, you will Conduct reconciliations between different revenue sources, such as sales records, accounts receivable, and financial statements, to ensure consistency and accuracy, Address discrepancies found during reconciliations, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.

    Job Details

    • Oversees the settlement of merchants' funds and other parties' fees of POS/WEB/Bank Branch/Cash-based POS transactions received from card schemes at T+1.
    • Transmit daily settlement and net settlement files of banks through Nigeria Interbank Settlement Systems (NIBSS).
    • Oversee the daily settlement of agents' banking transactions for which transaction was done through merchant service (POS).
    • Liaise regularly with NIBSS, and banks regarding the daily settlement of acquired transactions.
    • Liaise daily with the account & finance department to confirm settled amounts are adequately credited into the Arca Payment settlement bank accounts.
    • Resolve customers' complaints on merchant settlement issues.
    • Ensure reconciliation of all channel transactions against settlement files of the same period, for any exemption.
    • Ensure reconciliation of all merchants' settled transactions for any exemption of unsettled or wrongly settled transaction(s).
    • Ensure prompt distribution to merchants, issuers, acquirers, PTSP, TO, and processors reports.

    Requirements

    • BSc in Accounting, business administration, finance, and any other related discipline.
    • Previous experience within a Reconciliation, Settlement, or Middle Office environment is a plus.
    • A Minimum of 3 years working experience in cards/mobile/payment finance, fully integrated in all aspects of settlement and daily reconciliation process.
    • A Master's degree in any Social Science course and qualifications will be an added advantage.

Leveraging your expertise in fintech and payments, you will identify strategic opportunities, forge key partnerships, and drive revenue growth through effective business development initiatives.

    • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, prioritize, and cultivate strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, payment networks, and other relevant stakeholders to expand our card-issuing capabilities, and Take ownership of relationship management with stakeholders and channel partners (e.g., Credit Bureau, Card Schemes, Sponsor Bank) regarding business sales requirements and expansion.
    • Client Acquisition and Retention: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and onboarding, to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
    • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and untapped opportunities in the card issuing landscape, Provide accurate and timely market information on selected market sectors to drive the future marketing and product strategies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or partnership management roles within the fintech or payments industry.
    • Deep understanding of card issuing, payments infrastructure, and regulatory landscape.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable strategies.

    Junior Network Engineer

    Job Summary

    As a Junior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure to support a variety of projects. Primarily responsible for monitoring all network links, VPN connections, and network device license renewals. You will be collaborating with other team members to sustain network solutions in a cross-functional environment that combines interoperable systems, applications, and platforms. Also offer network support to users, staff members, clients, or suppliers.

    Job Details

    • Monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the Network infrastructure, ensuring that all network events are handled appropriately.
    • Monitoring of all ISP network connections and VPN links uptime and downtime using the Zabbix network monitoring tool.
    • Monitor network devices (switches, routers & firewall) resource utilization at the data center (both production and DR sites).
    • Manage and track the renewal of all network and firewall device licenses and ensure that they do not expire.
    • Weekly reports of all ISP link connection uptime and downtime.
    • Provide immediate technical support and investigation to reported issues, ensuring that these issues are investigated thoroughly, and on time.
    • Tracking faults on occurrence, following through to resolution.
    • Maintain and manage maintenance schedules for Arca’s network, including running daily, weekly, monthly, and annual network maintenance processes.
    • Look for trends in network data for preventative and proactive problem resolution. Manage the tracking and escalation of incidents and complete root cause analysis.
    • Work with business stakeholders and IT to ensure the quality of documentation and the ability to measure and manage the performance of the network to stringent KPIs.
    • Contribute to an open team culture of excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    • BSc/HND qualification in computer science, engineering, or any related discipline.
    •  A minimum of 2-3 years experience in any Fintech or IT operations environment
    • Excellent understanding of IP networking, Switching and Routing
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and oral communication, reporting, and presentation skills
    • Excellent relationship skills with a strong focus on exemplary service
