    Loan Officer

    Location: VI, Lagos State.

    N.B: Candidate must reside on the Island.

    Introduction:
    Our client, a micro finance bank seeks to engage the services of an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join their growing institution.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Analyze active loan files on a regular basis and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.
    • Interview applicants to define financial eligibility and establish debt payment plans and Monitor and update account records.
    • Prepare detailed loan proposals.
    • Respond to applicants' questions and resolve any loan-related issues.
    • Operate in compliance with Company policies, as well as State laws and regulations.
    • Prepare reports to send to customers whose accounts are delinquent and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
    • Market bank products to individuals and firms, promoting bank services that may meet customers' needs.
    • Submit applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendation.
    • Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or similar field.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a loan officer in a microfinance bank. 
    • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations on Loan Management.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officer and banking software.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Customer service oriented with exceptional sales skills

    Credit Risk Oficer

    Location: VI, Lagos State
    N.B: Candidate must reside on the Island.

    Introduction:
    Our client, a micro finance bank seeks to engage the services of a  Credit Officer to facilitate lending for their company by assessing creditworthiness. The Credit Officer will be responsible for preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • The credit risk officer will assist the Risk Department to;
    • Perform risk assessments and review the credit application submitted by front line officers; exercise credit judgment; and make sound credit recommendations and/or decisions;
    • Perform pro-active on-going credit monitoring and risk management on the client as well as portfolio level;
    • Ensure all internal credit policies and procedures are adhered to and help to develop or enhance such policies and procedures;
    • Ensure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements;
    • Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests, review clients’ financial status, evaluate creditworthiness and risks, calculate financial ratios (e.g. Debt to Income Ratio and interest rates)
    • Set up payment plans
    • Help to prepare various credit reports to be presented to Senior Management; 
    • Ensure all transactions have full and proper documentation.

    Job Requirements:

    • University degree holder or above in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy or related discipline;
    • At least 2 years’ experience in corporate lending or credit risk management;
    • Good understanding of the risk issues across a wide variety of corporations, industries and regions;
    • Good analytical, communications and interpersonal skill;
    • Good report writing skills
    • Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Monitoring and Compliance Officer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos State.

    N.B: Candidate must reside on the Island.

    Introduction:
    Our client, a micro finance bank seeks to engage the services of a Monitoring and Compliance Officer. He/She is to provide technical support for data collection, quality assurance, analysis and learning processes including setup of M&E systems in the company's field.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all recovery/collections staff  update their Loan repayment sheets as well as other sheets assigned to them within the given timeframe and  all step-to-step procedures for loan recovery/collections are being followed within the available timeframe.
    • Ensure that the monitory sheet is being updated on a daily basis with details of non-compliance to duties from all departments.
    • Assist the Head of department in development of compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks.
    • Advise management through the head of department on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
    • Assess company operations to determine compliance lapses and risk.
    • Report matters likely to be, illegal or amount to maladministration and noncompliance to the head of department.

    Requirements:

    • Must have an Accounting background.
    • 2-3 years proven experience in a compliance officer role.
    • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
    • Brilliant oral and written communication skills
    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
    • A good experience in  Internal Auditing will be an added advantage.

    Operations Officer

    Location: VI, Lagos State

    Our client, a microfinance bank seeks to engage the services of an organized and driven operations officer that will effectively develop and enact company policies and increase the efficiency of operations for our organization. Candidate must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding business intellect.

    Job Responsibilities:    

    • Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures.
    • Report to and assist Chief Operating Officer in daily tasks and duties.
    • Ensure company policies align with and advance business objectives.
    • Strategically map-out, plan, and manage projects. 
    • Analyze and maintain operational data.
    • Develop improved business functionality that increases profits.                  
    • Communicate with management teams to confirm the execution of company processes​​
    • Design and continuously improve existing and new business processes.
    • Ensure compliance at all times with Regulatory.

    Qualifications and Experience: Essential requirements:

    • At least 2 years of experience in consumer or commercial lending either as a business/systems/process analyst or credit/risk/collections manager.
    • Competent Project Management skills.
    • Understanding of the full credit lifecycle including acquisition, fraud, account management, collections, and recoveries.
    • Familiar with operating Loan Banking Applications such as Bank One or other enterprise software.
    • Numerically savvy, able to work with data, perform analysis, and communicate the result.
    • Experienced in performance management.
    • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Decision-making skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

    Finance Officer

    Location: VI, Lagos State.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Assist in monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
    • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting.
    • Assist in supervising the Update of client loan repayment and Disbursement History.
    • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct Periodic Financial Risk Management with the Finance manager.
    • Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential Financial information.
    • Ensure all accounting activities and audits comply with financial regulations.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting plus 2 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
    • Data Processing skills.
    • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Knowledge of financial reporting and data Management Tools like BANK ONE
    • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
