    Head Compliance

    Job Summary

    This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards by integrating HSE and Quality Management Systems. It focuses on risk mitigation, operational excellence, and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

    Job Details

    • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations, including industry standards and certifications. 
    • Regularly review and update compliance and quality policies to address emerging risks and maintain certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 9001). 
    • Identify and address risks related to operational safety and product quality, implementing corrective and preventive measures. 
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for safety and quality aspects of operations. 
    • Implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies across all departments. 
    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards. 
    • Promote awareness of safety and quality policies, encouraging proactive participation at all organizational levels. 
    • Investigate safety incidents and quality non-conformances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. 
    • Ensure thorough documentation of incidents and follow-up actions. 
    • Stay informed about the best practices in safety, quality, and compliance to recommend improvements. 
    • Drive initiatives to enhance safety and quality performance while optimizing operational efficiency 
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of compliance, safety, and quality activities, including audits, incidents, and certifications. 
    • Prepare and present regular compliance and quality reports to management. 
    • Develop and oversee emergency response plans, ensuring alignment with safety and regulatory standards. 
    • Conduct periodic drills to maintain readiness for potential incidents. 

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience and 4 years in supervisory position. 
    • Possess strong knowledge of ISO 450001:2018 and ISO 9001: 2015.
    • Familiarity with HSE regulations like OSHA, ISO. 
    • Understanding of areas such as First Aid, CPR, and Hazardous materials handling 
      Skills and Competencies. 
    • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements and best practices.
    • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and updating compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risks. 
    • Proficient in conducting regular audits and risk assessments to detect potential areas of non-compliance. 
    • Expertise in investigating and resolving compliance-related incidents and breaches efficiently.
    • Ability to maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, audits, and incidents.
    • Ensures compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, standards, and permits, and maintains accurate records and documentation.

    Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    This role oversees and coordinates all logistics activities to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of jobs to customers. This includes efficient planning and execution of transportation and delivery for both foreign and local materials.

    Job Details

    • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for both local and international material shipments.
    • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with logistics providers and freight forwarders for local and foreign deliveries.
    • Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and production needs.
    • Prepare and verify all required shipping and logistics documentation, including invoices, Form M, packing lists, product certificates, and waybills.
    • Liaise with customs officials and clearing agents to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported goods.
    • Raise requisitions and follow up on payments for local transporters and international freight forwarders.
    • Monitor emails and coordinate with the supply chain team regarding transportation requests for both local and imported materials.
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer delivery preferences and arrange transportation for both client pick-ups and direct deliveries.
    • Organize material pick-up from local and international suppliers, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
    • Track and follow up with suppliers, forwarders, transporters, and customs on the status of shipments and deliveries.
    • Maintain regular communication with logistics partners to stay updated on the movement and delivery status of all materials.
    • Proactively resolve delivery issues or delays to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or a related field.
    • A recognized certification in logistics or supply chain management is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role.

    Project Manager

    Job Summary

    The role interfaces and manages customer interactions. It also coordinates all bid and tender preparation, interprets technical requirements and presents design concepts with the Engineering team.

    Job Details

    • Develops winning strategies for bids and tenders in collaboration with the Engineering and Management teams.
    • Coordinates proposal preparation for bespoke products, aligning Sales and Engineering activities.
    • Interprets customer inquiries into cost-effective, feasible solutions.
    • Acts as the primary contact for customers during the inquiry and bidding processes.
    • Develops accurate costings for quotes and supports order conversion during negotiation calls.
    • Establishes and finalizes contract specifications with external groups.
    • Maintains strong customer relationships and leverage these to convert opportunities into orders.
    • Collaborates on marketing materials, such as case studies and press releases.
    • Supports the Engineering team in design and build phases as necessary
    • Ensures thorough follow-up on proposals, using CRM and other sales programs.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Project Management, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree or relevant certification in Sales, Engineering, or Project Management is an added advantage
    • 5-7 years of experience in bid or proposal management, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, or a technical sales environment.
    • Proven track record in coordinating complex proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing customer relationships.
    • Demonstrated experience in costing, budgeting, and financial management as it relates to project proposals and bids.
