As a Blasting Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in filling blast holes with explosives and detonating explosives to dislodge limestone and rock. Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in loading explosives in blast holes by hand or direct movement of bulk explosives trucks to load holes
- Assemble primer charges using selected detonators, fuses, detonating cords, and other materials
- Handle, store, and transport explosives and accessories in accordance with regulations
- Achieve good fragmentation through proper stemming and good connection at all times
- Follow safety procedures and ensure that safety regulations are observed

- Proper handling of tools provided them and to ensure right usage. Also responsible for getting the right tools for jobs at hand.
- Should have a valid DRIVING LICENCE.

- SSCE, National Diploma, Trade test-1, 2 & 3 in mechanical fitting/mechanical equipment maintenance.
