    IT Quality Assurance Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop comprehensive QA strategies and methodologies.
    • Provide regular updates on QA progress and metrics to stakeholders.
    • Develop, update and ensure implementation of the quality assurance guidelines
    • Prepare and maintain the testing plan according to the quality assurance guidelines
    • Ensure that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritised to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders
    • Scheduling testing activities and providing budget forecasts
    • Automate the testing processes and ensure continuous improvement over time
    • Providing feedback to the development team
    • Liaising with suppliers/partners, teams and team leaders when needed
    • Be a key player in the solution delivery lifecycle process
    • Implement test automation across all critical application
    • Implement CI/CD tools across the QA lifecycle
    • Ensure the effectiveness of the quality assurance guidelines
    • Providing feedback to all stakeholders
    • Conducting risk assessments in the testing phase
    • Perform continuous testing and upgrades when required
    • Creating and implementing new test strategies
    • Take part in the first-line support in the post-go-live phase
    • Deliver training sessions when applicable (prepare materials)

    Team coordination:

    • Coordinate the team
    • Manage schedules and workloads of team members
    • Plan training and support, implement process improvements when necessary
    • Compile reports to track process efficiency, personnel performance and adherence to established service level targets.

    Business Knowledge Management:

    • Maintain and develop deep knowledge of CBS's products, parameters and processes and applications.
    • Document software, features and processes when required
    • Provide information about the products and processes in the bank.

    Necessary Experience and Knowledge

    • Minimum of B.Sc in Computer Science, Economics or related discipline with experience
    • At least 6 years hands-on relevant professional experience in a similar role
    • A strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies and tools used in Waterfall, Agile and V-model methodologies
    • Proven track record in Testing Management experience working in an Agile/scrum context.
    • Quality Assurance, Test Management, and Test Strategy skills
    • Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Software Development methodologies
    • Experience in leading a team of quality assurance testers
    • Strong leadership and project management skills
    • Good knowledge of business processes and/or Accounting
    • Require effective prioritisation, time management, team spirit, and organisational abilities.
    • Understanding structured test methods and processes
    • Excellent grasp of test metrics, release process and test environment principles
    • Understanding of common software failures and faults
    • Manual and Automated Testing
    • Preparing concise documentation
    • Being articulate and communicating effectively
    • Fluent English, both in writing and orally
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) and payment-related protocol knowledge (e.g., ISO 8583) are preferred.

    Desired Experience and Knowledge:

    • Prior working experience with a Core Banking System (CBS) or a software package
    • Background in microfinance, banking, accounting and/or IT
    • Awareness of Risk-based testing approach, use of automated testing tools is an asset
    • Awareness of configuration management and change control processes is an asset
    • Programming language & scripting experience.

    Recovery Officer

    Mission

    • Recover bad debts from debtors who show unwillingness to pay back the loan taken.
    • Conduct regular review and visits to clients with outstanding loan portfolios at risk.
    • Daily review of all the outstanding and overdue loan clients.
    • Make regular reports and suggestions to the bank on actions required to protect its fund from bad loan clients.
    • Recovery of classified loans.
    • Initiates process to prosecute hard core debtors in line with guiding bank policy,
    • Negotiate work out plans with willing debtors.
    • Liaise with branches to manage and monitor non - performing loans.
    • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

    Required Skills / Experience

    Network Engineer

    Key Deliverables Responsibilities

    • Resolve Regional network performance issues.
    • Case handling upon fault escalation received from Service desk/Regional IT Supports
    • Support the Regional IT Supports Team to handle fault escalation, troubleshooting and performance improvement tasks.
    • Handle regular and ad-hoc network infrastructure-related activities according to Standard Operating procedures and SOP.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality technical service to assist branches in network troubleshooting, project implementation, day to day network operation within Nigeria
    • Ensure technical design/IP Schemes documentation and relevant changes are up to date, all documents are properly maintained under the designated location
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot wireless, security, switching, and other network-related issues on Cisco Meraki and networking equipment.
    • Collaborate with other support team members to fix network outages, misconfigurations, and complex networking issues on customers' devices.
    • Work with IT Leadership team to diagnose and resolve critical, escalated issues.
    • Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
    • Stay updated on Meraki features and technology by attending lunch and learns, participating in engineering and product team communication, and keeping up with enterprise and cloud networking trends.
    • Making sure that the networks are protected from malware and viruses, identifying areas that might be under threat and areas where security can be improved, and keeping up to date on ever-changing cyber threats.
    • Installing and maintaining firewalls, establishing and maintaining company-wide access policies to the internet.
    • Performing analysis and collecting data to establish the potential for improvements within the communication networks.
    • Working with third-party providers to keep the networks running efficiently.
    • Ensure deployment and functionality of Network Monitoring tools.

    Qualifications

    • BSc. Computer Science / Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
    • Strong 5 years’ hands-on experience in Core networking in middle-large Internet Service Provider/Fintech/Switching/aggregator/integrator/Cloud Hosting provider environment.
    • Fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with network technologies, including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless.
    • Thorough comprehension of fundamental networking protocols, including TCP/IP, ARP, Ethernet, Layer 2 & 3 network management etc.
    • Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, &/or DHCP servers, Radius Server, One-Login, Palo Alto, AWS Networking (is required).
    • Experience installing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks.
    • Outstanding English language written and verbal communication skills and comprehension.
    • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate matters to third parties.
    • Outstanding customer service skills.
    • Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
    • Experience in computer networking-related problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to multitask and find solutions during complex situations
    • Cisco CMNA – Certified Meraki Networking Associate required.
    • Cisco CCNA certification is required.
    • Candidates with CCNP certification will be given an advantage.
