    Human Resources​ Manager

    Objective

    • To provide strategic and operational HR leadership that ensures effective recruitment, performance management, staff wellbeing, and compliance with labor and safeguarding standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    HR Strategy & Workforce Management:

    • Implement HR policies and procedures aligned with ASWHAN and donor standards
    • Lead recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, and staff records management.
    • Coordinate performance management, learning, and development initiatives.

    Employee Relations & Compliance:

    • Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, safeguarding, and duty of care obligations.

    Technical Skills & Experience Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum 7 years’ HR management experience.
    • Membership of CIPM is an added advantage.
    • Strong understanding of HR best practices in NGO and donor-funded environments.
    • Demonstrated experience managing recruitment for multi-location projects.
    • Practical experience with performance management and staff development systems.
    • Solid knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, safeguarding, and workplace compliance.
    • Proficiency in HRIS, personnel documentation, and MS Office tools.

    Advocacy and Communication Manager

    Objective

    • To lead advocacy, policy engagement, and communications strategies that influence decision-makers, amplify EU-SUSI outcomes, and ensure donor visibility.

    Key Responsibilities
    Advocacy & Policy Engagement

    • Develop and implement evidence-based advocacy strategies aligned with EU-SUSI objectives.
    • Engage policymakers, CSOs, networks, and government institutions at national and sub-national levels.
    • Support policy dialogue, learning events, and stakeholder forums.

    Communications & Visibility:

    • Lead content development, storytelling, media engagement, and documentation of project results.
    • Ensure compliance with EU and Oxfam branding and visibility requirements.

    Technical Skills & Experience Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field. with a minimum 7 years’ experience in advocacy and communications roles.
    • Strong skills in advocacy strategy development, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Demonstrated experience working with media and managing public communications
    • Proficiency in digital communications, content development, and reporting.
    • Ability to translate complex project results into compelling messages.

    Audit and Compliance Manager

    Responsibilities
    Audit & Internal Control:

    • Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans covering all project components.
    • Conduct routine, spot, and thematic audits at national and field levels.
    • Review financial, operational, and programmatic processes for compliance and efficiency.
    • Track audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective action plans.

    Donor & Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to EU donor regulations, and Nigerian statutory requirements.
    • Support internal, external, and donor audits and investigations.
    • Identify fraud risks, compliance gaps, and control weaknesses.

    Capacity Strengthening:

    • Train staff and partners on compliance standards, fraud prevention, and accountability frameworks.

    Technical Skills & Experience Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field with a minimum 7 years’ experience in audit, compliance, or risk management roles.
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
    • In-depth knowledge of EU donor compliance frameworks, internal audit standards, and risk management.
    • Practical experience designing internal control and compliance systems.
    • Experience auditing multi-location and consortium projects.
    • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; high proficiency in Excel and audit tools.
