    HSE Officer

    About the Job

    • Assist in coordinating HSE activities on site in line with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Support the Permit to Work (PTW) system by ensuring proper documentation, risk assessments, and safety measures are in place.
    • Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
    • Conduct and support risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA)
    • Monitor and report HSE performance indicators and assist in tracking KPIs.
    • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities and compliance.
    • Support process safety initiatives and ensure alignment with operational safety procedures.
    • Conduct routine site inspections and report unsafe conditions or practices.
    • Promote a proactive safety culture through daily engagement and visible participation in safety activities.
    • Carry out any other HSE-related duties as assigned by the HSE Supervisor or Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
    • Must have completed a minimum HSE Level 3 course or its equivalent.
    • Minimum of 4 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas sector.
    • Familiarity with gas plant operations.
    • Experience with PTW systems and construction safety practices.
    • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is an added advantage.
    • Additional certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA) are an advantage.

    Fire Officer

    About the Job

    • Extinguishing fire and rescuing those in danger
    • Taking proper position and climbing ladders to rescue victims from upper levels of buildings.
    • Educating people on fire safety via practical demonstration and use of portable fire extinguishers.
    • Cleaning and maintaining Fire Truck/Tender, Hoses, and other equipment.
    • Responding to fire alarms quickly to regulate and extinguish plant and building fires.
    • Operating firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses etc.
    • Providing emergency medical services with compliance to established standards.
    • Inspecting scenes of fire or accidents to identify causes or discover significant findings and report same to the Fire supervisor for immediate actions.
    • Analysing hazardous situations and thinking of quick solutions and actions
    • Be proactive and vast on all the ways of fire incident approach and the deployment of the right extinguishing medium in any fire incident.
    • Respond to any other duty as assigned to him by the fire crew supervisor
    • Inspection of fire equipment and updates
    • Taking inventory of fire equipment and recording of occurrences.
    • Testing, maintenance, certification of all fire equipment including Fire Hydrants, Deluge systems, fire alarm systems, fire pumps and fire pump monitors,
    • Respond to any other duty as assigned to him by the fire crew supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Sciences, with three-year diploma in firefighting and at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
    • Completed Station Fire Officer course from an accredited institute.
    • 10 years’ experience involved in firefighting / fire protection and use of fire and life support equipment
    • Possession of valid Nigerian driving license is essential.
    • Fulfil Fire Brigade physical fitness requirements, training certificates & examination qualifications.

    Assistant HSE Manager

    About the Job

    • Support the HSE Manager in strategic planning and execution of HSE programs.
    • Stand in for the HSE Manager during absences, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making.
    • Coordinate with other Assistant HSE Managers to ensure consistent application of safety standards across departments.
    • Oversee implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and ensure alignment with plant operations.
    • Lead and validate Risk Assessments, JHA, Permit To Work.
    • Ensure effective implementation and auditing of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, including SIMOPS and confined space entry.
    • Lead or support root cause investigations using methodologies.
    • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of emergency systems and teams.
    • Review and update Emergency Response Plans (ERP) in line with operational changes.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian and international HSE regulations (NMDPRA, ISO 45001/14001, etc).
    • Monitor and report HSE KPIs, trends, and leading indicators to the HSE Manager.
    • Prepare technical reports, audit findings, and regulatory submissions.
    • Ensure the Inspection and audit monitoring schedule is duly implemented.
    • Oversee the delivery of HSE training
    • Promote a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, and engagement with frontline personnel.
    • Mentor HSE Officers/Supervisors and support their professional development.
    • Monitor environmental performance, including emissions, effluents, and waste management.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and support sustainability initiatives.
    • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the HSE Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related technical field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of HSE experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
    • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent is mandatory.
    • Advanced certifications such as NEBOSH Process Safety, Oil and Gas, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, are highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in LNG or gas processing plant operations.
    • Strong knowledge of process safety, PTW systems, SIMOPS, and emergency response planning.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management software.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
    • Membership in a recognized professional safety body (e.g., ISPON, COREN) is an advantage.

    Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the Northern Nigeria region.
    • Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities in the LNG and Gas sectors.
    • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

    Market Development:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region.
    • Expand Greenville LNG's market presence by identifying and penetrating new markets within the region.
    • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to maintain long-term relationships.
    • Work closely with the customer service and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.

    Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

    • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses to management.
    • Track and report on sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet evolving market conditions.
    • Use CRM tools to manage customer data and sales activities, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.

    Team Collaboration:

    Qualifications
    Interested candidates should possess:

    • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Qualified candidate should also have an MBA in Marketing or Business-related fields.
    • At least 15 years' work experience in sales role in Oil and Gas industry including LNG, CNG, and LPG, with a deep understanding of the local market dynamics.
    • Highly motivated individual who is familiar with the geographical and industry landscape of Northern Nigeria and is eager to take on a target-based sales role.
    • Very good sales and business development experience in petroleum products and gas sales especially in Northern Nigeria.
    • Very strong and exceptional business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
