    HR Officer

    Job Descriptions

    • Manage employee relation, hearing and resolving employee grievances, counselling of employees and supervisors.
    • Review and maintain human resource policies and procedures, make recommendations where necessary.
    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state regulations/requirements.
    • Coordinate exit interviews, analyze and recommend retention strategies to Senior Management.
    • Maintain adequate records and information for all employees of the company
    • Coordinate the Employee Recruitment process and the preparation of employment contracts
    • Provide support and guidance to Managers and staff ensuring good employee relations and welfare, wellness and health.
    • Ensure that all employee data are accurate and up to date
    • To assist in developing Human Resources policies promoting the company's core values and objectives
    • Co-ordinate the Employee Career development and Succession Plan, identification of employee training needs and facilitating employee development across the organization.

    Requirements

    • A bachelor degree in the related field
    • A post-university degree or professional certification will be added advantage.
    • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with companies with exposure to best practices.
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Good team player
    • Good interpersonal and people management skills and negotiating skills
    • Good understanding of the employee recruitment process
    • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment and tact
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • A minimum of 3-5 years working Experience
    • Must be good with the use of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, and powerpoint).
