    HR Manager

    Summary

    • PIND seeks an experienced HRManager to lead end-to-end human resources and core administrative functions that enable our mission in the Niger Delta. The role steers HR strategy, recruitment and onboarding, performance and talent management, learning & development, compensation and benefits coordination, employee relations, HRIS and analytics, policy compliance, safeguarding/HSE coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with other teams. The ideal candidate is a trusted partner with strong judgement, impeccable integrity, and a track record of building compliant, efficient people systems that support organisational performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead annual HR planning aligned to PIND’s strategy and deliver timely implementation updates and reports.
    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding, ensuring high-quality candidate experience and timely probation reviews.
    • Manage performance cycles (goal setting, mid-year and end-year reviews), talent management, and succession planning.
    • Coordinate learning and development needs analysis, annual training plan, and delivery.
    • Support compensation and benefits administration in collaboration, ensuring accurate, timely payroll inputs and zero unauthorised variances.
    • Handle employee relations (disciplinary, grievance, investigations, mediations) with fair process, thorough documentation, and timely resolution.
    • Maintain HR policies, compliance, and records, ensuring 100% audit-ready personnel files and adherence to Nigerian labour regulations and donor requirements.
    • Administer HRIS and workforce analytics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, diversity, training, ER cases) to inform decisions.
    • Coordinate HSE awareness and safeguarding initiatives in partnership with Security; promote a safe, inclusive workplace.
    • Foster internal service excellence (office services interface, cross-team coordination) and continuous improvement.

    Educational Requirements

    • A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is required, a postgraduate degree is an added advantage.

    Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

    • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a similar managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigeria Labour Act and HR policy implementation.
    • Excellent understanding of recruitment and selection, performance and talent management, learning & development frameworks, compensation & benefits fundamentals.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Ability to maintain high data accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong prioritisation/time management skills.
    • Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS tools.
    • Ability to work independently and strategically coordinate administrative functions.
    • Strong relationship-building and staff engagement skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
    • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and prioritise tasks effectively.

    Lead, Change Management & Agile Transformation

    Job Summary

    • As the Lead, Change Management & Agile Transformation, you are the cultural architect of this client project. You will rewire our operational DNA and champion a comprehensive cultural and methodological shift across key client departments. This pivotal role will shape strategies, frameworks, and execution plans to embed agile principles and accelerate sustainable organisational change.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement holistic change management frameworks tailored to client needs, integrating agile methodologies and best-in-class strategies.
    • Engage and educate leaders, managers, and teams on the benefits of agile adoption, ensuring buy-in across diverse stakeholders.
    • Develop and facilitate dynamic workshops, training sessions, and communications to drive culture change and knowledge transfer.
    • Assess organisational readiness, barriers to change, and create actionable improvement roadmaps.
    • Lead cross-functional transformation teams; mentor and coach department leads through adaptive cycles of change.

    Educational Requirements

    • A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., PROSCI Change Management, ACMP, Agile Leadership Certification) is required. A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Experience.

    • At least 10 years experience in organisational development and complex transformations, with at least 3 years in a clear leadership role where you were the primary architect of a major change initiative.
    • Certified expert in formal change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) and can articulate their business value, not just the theory.
    • Deep, practical knowledge of scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale) far beyond a single team. You understand how to apply Agile principles to non-technical departments.
    • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering large-scale organisational transformations.
    • Exceptional ability to influence, communicate, and build trust at all levels, including C-suite executives.
    • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and process optimisation.
    • Analytical mindset: skilled in data-driven decision making and performance tracking.
    • Proven track record of fostering a culture of creativity, adaptability, and operational excellence.

    Lead, Scrum Master & Process Optimisation

    Job Summary

    • As the Lead, Scrum Master & Process Optimisation, you will coach agile teams, drive sprint discipline, and deliver effective backlog management for the strategic consulting project. You will collaborate with business and technical leaders to maximise project velocity and ensure high-quality deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as chief Scrum Master across strategic workstreams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Coach and mentor teams on agile frameworks, empowering self-organisation and continuous improvement.
    • Identify, document, and eliminate process bottlenecks to optimise project throughput and operational effectiveness.
    • Implement process automation tools, dashboards, and analytics to enhance transparency, velocity, and forecasting.
    • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise and refine backlogs aligned to project objectives.

    • Deeply certified and practiced Scrum Master (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PSM II/III, CSP-SM, or SAFe SM). You have battle-tested experience in scaling Agile and managing complex dependencies between multiple teams.

    • Track record of coaching teams to deliver complex, multi-phase projects with disciplined execution.
