The Head, of Operations and Production Facilities will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Company delivers optimal performance across key focus areas, including process safety, carbon emissions management, operating cost optimization, and production optimization.
They will act as the primary liaison between the company and the operator, monitoring and influencing operations to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and industry best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of First Degree in Engineering, Management, or any Business-related discipline
A postgraduate qualification, preferably an MBA or Relevant Master’s Degree is an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in Production Engineering, Subsurface disciplines, EPC, or allied industry with at least #10 years in a management-level role.
Proven experience in managing non-operated assets or working closely with operators in a similar capacity.
Strong understanding of process safety management, carbon emissions reduction strategies, and production optimization techniques.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment in Nigeria and the Niger Delta region.
Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Professional membership of a relevant body e.g., Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
This role is responsible for measuring, recording, or evaluating geological data, using sonic, electronic, electrical, seismic, or gravity-measuring instruments to prospect for oil and gas.
The key responsibilities will include project planning, resource evaluation, technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while managing staff and collaborating with other departments to achieve exploration and development goals.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline or MBA will be an added advantage
Membership in any related professional body will be an added advantage.
Minimum of first degree in Geology, Geophysics, or any Geosciences related discipline
Minimum of 10-15 years of exploration experience in an upstream company
Extensive experience in geological exploration, reservoir characterization, or related geoscience applications
Expertise in geological modeling software and data analysis tools (e.g., Petrel, ArcGIS, Go Cad).
