Job Summary

• You will own col's full commercial mandate - business development, key account management, oricing strategy, trade lane expansion, and team leadership - reporting directly to the MD.

What you'll do

• Drive revenue growth across sea freight, air freight & bonded terminal services
• Bulld and manage relationships with shipping lines, port stakeholders & major clients
• Lead and mentor a business development and operations team
• Own the commercial pipeline, margin optimisation and market expansion

What we're looking for

• 5 years in freight forwarding or shipping in Nigeria
• Proven track record of business growth with measurable results
• Deep knowledge of Nigerian ports, NGS procedures & CRFFN regulations
• Strong commercial acumen and team leadership skills
• Nigerian national.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bill of lading and regulatory paperwork.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents and port ofticials to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines and transport vendors for cost-effective and timely movement of goods.
• Ensure compulance with Nigerian import/export regulations, duties and tax requirements
• hesolve operational issues such as delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs queries.
• Maintain accurate records of snipments, costs and logistics pertormance.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures in Nigeria (lagos ports).
• Experience working with clearing agents and freight forwarders.
• Famarty with shipping documentation and international trade regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preterred Skills:

• Experience handling operations at Apapa Port / In Can Island Port (Lagos) and other ports is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HS codes, duty structures and compliance norms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriven environment.
