    Head of Administration and Human Resources

    • The Head of Administrative and Human Resources (HAHR) is a C-Level Management Team member and will always report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ColdHubs Limited.

    REQUIREMENTS – PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY

    • 10 – 15 years solid, practical, and working knowledge in administration and human resources management.
    • Manages all administrative tasks.
    • Reports/works directly with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), ColdHubs Limited.
    • Permanent office position.
    • Extremely focused, on top-of-the-matter always.
    • Extremely detailed, with good thought process in administration, management, and use of office support software.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and trustworthy.
    • Resumes daily at the ColdHubs Limited Headquarters – Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

    RESPONSIBILITIES - PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY

    • Responsible for the daily administration of the company.
    • In charge of all confidential and non-confidential administrative fillings of the company.
    • In charge of all confidential and non-confidential administrative records of the company.
    • Create and lead effective, efficient, and robust systems, structure, and processes for the administrative management of the company.
    • Ensures that all company activities follow the Standard Operating Policies (SOPs) and all other operational manuals.
    • Reviews and presents copies of reviewed SOPs and manuals to management and staff for their input and approval.
    • Compares staff weekly Workplan against previous week’s Workplan outlining achievements, non-achievements and presents a narrative to all staff.
    • Organizes, creates Agenda, keeps minutes, writes reports and circulates reports of Mondays, weekly management/staff meetings.
    • Conducts monthly/quarterly staff performance appraisals against staff job descriptions.
    • Develops recruitment templates including job descriptions, roles and responsibilities, schedules, qualifications for all staff, Hub Operators, Hub Assistants, Drivers, and Driver Assistants.
    • Regularly review and amend staff job description to avoid repetition of functions.
    • Ensures appropriate filling of all staff records.
    • Develops Terms of Reference (ToR) for engagement of all consultants, contractors, and service providers.
    • Arranges interviews, recruitments and enforces disciplinary measures on consultants, contractors, and service providers.
    • Issues queries to all erring staff.
    • Oversees disciplinary actions of staff.
    • Undertake missions to field locations to review administrative arrangements and make appropriate recommendations as required.
    • Coordinate training and capacity-building activities of staff.
    • Manage office supplies stock and place orders.
    • Answer queries from employees and clients.
    • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments.
    • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g., letters, emails, and packages).
    • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned.
    • Arrange travel and accommodation.
    • Organize and schedule in-house and external events.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education: University Degree in Secretarial Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Library Science, or related social sciences or humanities field.
    • Job experience: 10 – 15 years solid, practical, and working knowledge in administration and human resources management.
    • Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and another local language.
    • Strong research and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to Detail.
    • Excellent organizational skills, as performance monitoring will be done every quarter.
    • Excellent computer skills.

    Development Officer

    • We seek to hire a full-time DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, to work at the Head Office.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 5 years of solid, practical, and working knowledge of agricultural and rural development programs and initiatives in Nigeria.
    • Regular travels within Nigeria.
    • Extremely detailed, with good thought process and extensive knowledge of development initiatives and programs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Job Responsibilities for Development Officer

    • Prepares and submits donor-funded project implementation reports timely.
    • Develops templates for the impact measurement of implemented projects.
    • Conducts impact measurement on projects and compiles results into reports to be shared with partners.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with existing and potential partners.
    • Manages and tracks partners’ records, contact information, and history.
    • Organizes and maintains development materials, such as brochures and presentations.
    • Participates in partners’ meetings, presentations, and events.
    • Stays informed of funded projects, techniques, and technology.
    • Supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other management team members, with projects and tasks when required.

    Job Requirements for Development Officer

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
    • Job experience: At least 5 years of solid, practical, and working knowledge of fundraising and development.
    • Demonstrated success in managing and meeting reporting and impact measurement goals.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong organization and time management skills.
    • Attention to Detail.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and donor management software.
