    Grants Writing Intern

    Role Overview

    • We’re looking for a motivated and research-savvy Grant Writing Intern to support the development of proposals and funding applications.
    • This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their writing skills while contributing to the sustainability and expansion of transformative educational projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research potential grant opportunities, donor organizations, and funding programs.
    • Assist in writing and editing grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
    • Help maintain a grants calendar and track deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
    • Support the preparation of reports and supporting documents for grant applications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and project data.
    • Assist in maintaining donor and grantor databases.

    Sales Representative (Intern)

    Role Description

    • This is a remote internship role for a Sales Representative.
    • The intern will support the sales team in identifying potential students, reaching out to prospects, and building relationships to promote WU's educational programs.
    • Responsibilities include engaging with prospective students, providing information about available courses, assisting with enrollment processes, and conducting follow-ups.
    • The intern will also contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to support the university's mission and goals.

    Qualifications

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Confidence in speaking with diverse audiences.
    • Interest in sales, marketing, customer engagement, or business development.
    • Basic familiarity with digital tools (Google Workspace, CRM tools, messaging platforms).
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
    • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
    • Passion for education and impact-driven work.

    • Track leads, inquiries, and conversions using CRM or tracking tools.
    • Assist in organizing webinars, info sessions, and virtual open days.
    • Gather feedback from prospects to improve sales strategies and messaging.
    • Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to align outreach efforts with campaigns.
    • Maintain professional communication and uphold the university’s brand values.
