    Grants Writing Intern

    Role Overview

    • We’re looking for a motivated and research-savvy Grant Writing Intern to support the development of proposals and funding applications.
    • This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their writing skills while contributing to the sustainability and expansion of transformative educational projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research potential grant opportunities, donor organizations, and funding programs.
    • Assist in writing and editing grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
    • Help maintain a grants calendar and track deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
    • Support the preparation of reports and supporting documents for grant applications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and project data.
    • Assist in maintaining donor and grantor databases.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
    • Background in English, Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
    • Familiarity with nonprofit work, fundraising, or academic writing is an advantage.
    • Ability to synthesize information and write clearly and persuasively.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
    • Eagerness to learn the grant writing process from concept to submission.
