    Graduate Trainee (Corporate Communications Officer)

    Description

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Officer to support internal and external communication activities, manage digital platforms, and assist in maintaining the company’s brand image.
    • The ideal candidate will also represent the company at events and support on-site engagements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies.
    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and attending corporate events, conferences, and company engagements.
    • Represent the company at events and provide on-site communication support when required.
    • Monitor media coverage and support efforts to maintain a positive public image.
    • Manage and update the company’s LinkedIn page and website content regularly.
    • Design basic graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Must have completed NYSC (Discharge Certificate required).
    • 0 – 2 years relevant experience.
    • Willingness to attend events when required.
    • Basic knowledge of social media management (especially LinkedIn).
    • Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

    Rig Technician

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Rig Technician to support drilling operations and ensure the efficient performance of rig equipment.
    • This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems while ensuring full compliance with safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support drilling operations by maintaining and repairing rig equipment
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and technical faults efficiently
    • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
    • Ensure compliance with HSE and operational safety standards
    • Work closely with the Drilling Supervisor and rig crew to ensure smooth operations
    • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in oil & gas drilling operations
    • Experience working on offshore rigs
    • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
    • Valid certifications such as BOSIET (for offshore roles), IWCF or IADC
    • Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and rig systems
    • Ability to work in remote locations and rotational schedules
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
