    Security Advisor

     About the role
    The post holder will provide in country security cover and assessments for the staff, the programme and the offices in Nigeria. This will be done by applying Christian Aid’s security protocols, in country assessments, contacts with the local security community, the UN, INSO, IMF and other appropriate sources. The post holder will manage security, safety and associated risks to Christian Aid Nigeria staff, visitors, partners and the organization’s physical assets. He/she will play a key role in the management of guards and drivers at all office locations, whilst being answerable to the Country Manager.

    About you

    You must have a first degree in Social Science or development related field with at least 3 years’ experience of working with local and international partner organisations. You should have field based experience in complex and insecure settings or relevant security overseas position. You must have a sound understanding of Nigerian social and political context and its impact on security; well informed and knowledgeable about global security trends and issues.  You will be willing change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies You should have progressive experience (for not less than 5 years) of managing security and safety.

    Nutrition Assistants

    About the role

    The Nutrition Assistants will be responsible for planning and implementation of nutrition and hygiene education activities on Christian Aid WFP Project. They will ensure comprehensive mobilisation of the community for nutrition screening of children under five, forming and monitoring champion mothers support group and oversee community nutrition education, counselling.

    About you
     The post holder is required to have a degree in Nutrition with one to two years work experience in a similar role especially in an emergency response.
    She/he is expected to be familiar with Food, Security & Livelihood context in the North East Nigeria.  She/ he is required to have strong report writing and communication skills. You are required to have good interpersonal, organisational and planning skills. Ability to be flexible, supervise and coach community workers is essential.

    Human Resource Administrator

     About the role
    The post holder will provide effective and efficient support to HR, IT, Information Management within the Humanitarian Response in Borno State by ensuring high standards with focus on recruitment, staff induction, enrollment on insurance policies, staff documentation (both hard and soft copy). The role will be responsible for Volunteer engagement, management and documentation.

    About you
    You are required to have a degree in Administration, Human Resources or any of the Social Sciences with 2to 3 years previous HR administrative experience particularly in an NGO. You are required to have strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office and databases management. The post holder is required to have excellent  interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural. Previous experience of working with a computerised HR system is desirable.
