    Head of Agency

    Job Description

    Our client, a direct marketing communications Agency is looking to hire  Head of Agency to help meet their ambitious growth objectives in the marketing industry.

    As the Head of Agency, you will be responsible for the development and leadership for the agency's strategic practice, reporting directly to the MD/C.E.O of a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment with the aim of winning new business as well as managing the strategic marketing development for some of the most recognized brands in the world.

    In addition, you’d be typically responsible for helping to build and grow awareness of The Agency’s Brand by acting as an outward facing thought leader, maintaining and growing The Agency's business and client base on an ongoing and project basis; create and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients; develope strategic solutions and plans that best fit the agency and clients’ needs.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Major areas of responsibilities
    Business Leadership

    • Define project scope, estimate and write proposals; co-oridnate service providers in the creation of project specifications and time plans.
    • Identify and develop target list of clients and partners
    • Understand business objectives, challenges and opportunities of target and industry
    • Responsible for departmental vision, structure, and management while providing leadership, accountability, and mentorship to brand strategy.
    • Be the agency’s lead brand evangelist, embodying Impact’s core values and differentiating perspectives
    • Maintain and develop prospective client and key strategic partners network
    • Develop integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the client’s marketing and business goals and objectives
    • Generate and drive insight for internal and client audiences around media, brands, consumers, and experiences
    • Manage agency strategy efforts and projects, involved with projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines.

    Strategic Project management

    • Develop integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the client’s marketing and business goals and objectives
    • Generate and drive insight for internal and client audiences around media, brands, consumers, and experiences
    • Design, execute and manage research
    • Manage measurement, analytics, data gathering, and reporting for clients’ and agency
    • Provide strategic branding thought leadership and expertise to expand business relationships
    • Oversee development of marketing plans and creative briefs
    • Training and developing staff (direct reports), and influencing  cross-functional internal partners to create and execute effective research, analysis, and strategy

    New Business Management

    • Manage agency new business efforts and projects, involved with projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines.
    • Provide and maintain client contact and relationship database.
    • Networking to find new business opportunities
    • Lead and manage new business presentations
    • Arranging sales and creative presentations and meetings
    • Seeking new opportunities to add value to existing clients
    • Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities

    Requirements

    • MBA preferred, or Masters in Business or Marketing, commensurate experience in building agency client portfolios.
    • Interest in and aptitude for creative business and marketing solutions
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building new business and account management in an agency environment
    • Highly motivated, with a proven track record of new business acquisitions and expansion of client accounts
    • Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship building dynamics and processes

    Account Executive (Client Service)

    Our client, a direct marketing communications Agency is looking to hire  Account Executives to help meet their ambitious growth objectives in the marketing industry.

    We are looking for bright, curious, and driven individuals to join our passionate marketing and communication team. You will work within a fast paced, exciting, and dynamic environment to make sure that marketing communication plans get executed within time and budget to achieve the goals of brand & product development and awareness, lead generation and customer success.

    Our client is a high growth scale-up Agency looking for roll-up-your sleeves Account Executives to help propel growth.

    How you'll make a difference as Account Executives in Client Service.

    Your role is a combination of sales, business development activities and customer relationship management. You would liaise with clients to get a thorough understanding of their marketing and promotional needs, the budgets earmarked for these activities, target audience and other critical demographics, market and competition information and other relevant details.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage customer renewal cycle from new account to mature account.
    • Manage a portfolio of accounts and act as the primary point of contact for clients with the goal of building long-lasting business relationships and continuous growth.
    • Understand customer needs and think strategically about how we can best support their needs to become a celebrated component of their success.
    • Partner and work with sales and internal teams to ensure seamless transition of newly signed customers through on-boarding and implementation stages to become activated, prospering accounts.
    • Ensure proper internal alignment and customer communication to keep all deliverables on track. Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure customer needs are being met.
    • Be a brand enthusiast for Key Clients.
    • As part of the team you’ll be using a hands-on approach to help your team with the execution of the following activities:
    • â—¦Plan, build, manage, optimise and report on field marketing campaigns

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree preferably n Marketing / Business / or related field
    • Minimum of three years of active work experience in the same role and industry
    • The ability to deliver campaigns that generate results
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • The ability to think laterally and literally
    • Commercial awareness
    • Experience working with major brands demonstrating an advanced level of experience in brand marketing, competitive landscapes and local markets
