    Training Consultant

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Initiate, Prepare, facilitate, deliver, monitor and evaluate seminars/workshops/training/roundtable/lecture sessions by Tongston Institute (online and in person) and other relevant Tongston entities
    • Enrich and develop resources for sessions based on Company, industry and user needs, feedback and standards    
    • Train, manage and guide support staff, trainers, facilitators, resource developers
    • Development, maintenance and management of a comprehensive stakeholder database
    • Prospect, interact and engage new and existing clientele and other partners 
    • Support in deploying market research and user surveys for Tongston’s products and services       
    • Plan, organize and develop new training courses including the supporting materials such as extensive training manuals, curriculum, assessment tools & marking schemes, videos, slides, quick reference guides, “how to” guides, etc.
    • Development of assessment and accreditation materials and programs

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, though a Masters’ or Doctorate/PhD in education is an added advantage.
    • A fully certified teacher, holding a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.
    • A certification in a business-related field will be an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a practitioner/trainer/teacher/lecturer in any of these professional fields: Project Management; School Teaching/Administration; Finance, Sales & Business Development; Psychology & Counselling; Human Resource Management; Life Coaching; and Career Development & Mentorship.
    • Experience working with the demographic to which your experience level applies to.
    • Work experience that cuts across education, consulting, business and media in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment is useful.
    • Solid knowledge of the latest educational & corporate training techniques.
    • Passionate about providing outstanding teaching and delivering learning.
    • Highly experienced in the National Curriculum of your current jurisdiction, and/or jurisdictions for which you are applying for.
    • Prior business development experience or marketing experience will be an added advantage.
    • Prior or existing experience as an entrepreneur would be an important added advantage.
    • Proficiency in key applications - MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Corel Draw, Adobe Systems and any other required applications.
    • Proficiency in cloud software applications (Skydrive, DropBox, Google Docs, Outlook).
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills – especially stage presence in addressing audiences of 100 to 500 people.
    • Ability to manage and interact with c-level executives in any institution.
    • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.

    Training, Curriculum Integration & Development, and Resource Development Associate Officer

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Training

    • Initiate, Prepare, facilitate, deliver, monitor and evaluate seminars/workshops/training/roundtable/lecture sessions by Tongston Institute (online and in person) and other relevant Tongston entities
    • Initiate, Enrich and develop resources for sessions based on Company, industry and user needs, feedback and standards
    • Train, manage and guide support staff, trainers, facilitators, resource developers
    • Development of assessment and accreditation materials and programs
    • Development, maintainenance and management of a comprehensive stakeholder database
    • Prospect, interact and engage new and existing clientele and other partners 
    • Support in deploying market research and user surveys for Tongston’s products and services  
    • Provide career and business coaching support to trainees

    Curriculum Development and Integration

    • Develop and integrate Tongston’s entrepreneurial thinking model into curricula, resources and frameworks for educational institutions
    • Tongston product and service development, upgrades, deployment and supervision of implementation
    • Work with regulatory bodies, accreditation bodies and other entities in creation and explansion of the entrepreneurial education industry
    • Support users in utilization of Tongston products and services through follow-up, supervision and guidance to assessthe implementation of practices taught

    Resource Development

    • Development and dissemination of content and materials for publishing by Tongston Media, Tongston college and Tongston institute
    • Development of assessment and accreditation materials and programs
    • Development of Tongston resources including books, user guides, articles, journals etc.
    • Business Development and Client Management
    • Development of Tongston products and services in conjunction with business development, stakeholder management & strategy, finance & treasury and other relevant teams
    • Prepare proposals, feasibility studies, pitchbooks, promotional and marketing literature, in conjunction with T-Media
    • Prospect and interact with customers, partners, stakeholders and dealing with inquiries.
    • Engage clients and conduct quality assurance to validate Tongston’s value, influence and profitability
    • Devise methods, collect and analyze data on consumers, competitors, business models, pricing, market trends and conditions and implement to achieve value, profitability and influence of Tongston and its products & services
    • Manage technical and business negotiations with partners and key stakeholders
    • Map and manage stakeholders, clients and partners
    • Support T-Media in developing and implementing events, marketing & brand campaigns and represent Tongston in events and sessions as appropriate


    Education

    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in education, though a Masters in education is an added advantage.
    • A certification in a business-related field will be an added advantange.
    • Work experience in finance, sales, customer service, business, marketing etc. would be an added advantage.
    • 1-2 years of prior product development expertise would be a plus.
    • Extensive Program / Project Management experience would be a plus.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years proven experience as a practitioner/trainer/teacher/lecturer in any of these professional fields: Project Management; School Teaching/Administration; Finance, Sales & Business Development; Psychology & Counselling; Human Resource Management; Life Coaching; and Career Development & Mentorship. Work experience that cuts across education, consulting, business and media in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment is useful.
    • Solid knowledge of the latest educational & corporate training techniques.
    • Prior business development experience or marketing experience will be an added advantage.
    • Digital marketing skills would be a plus.
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
    • Proficiency in key applications - MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Corel Draw, Adobe Systems and any other required applications.
    • Proficiency in cloud software applications (Skydrive, DropBox, Google Docs, Outlook).
