    Workshop Assistant

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Examine the defective machinery and equipment to determine the nature and location of these defects.
    • Disassemble the machine or equipment, wholly or partly to establish the worn or damaged parts and establish a properly documented diagnostic for future reference.
    • Repair or replace defective parts. (If necessary, using machine tools and other specialised equipment, carry out metal cutting, rectifications, planning and shaping and construction of other missing parts).
    • Assemble the pieces, carrying out as additional machining work if necessary to ensure precise fit.
    • Check the equipment is completely reassembled and make the necessary adjustments.
    • Check, adjust and lubricate machinery and equipment.
    • Perform other works to maintain machinery or equipment in good working condition

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
    • Should have 5 years of industry experience in a mechanical workshop
    • Experience with light vehicles and heavy-duty machinery (Komatsu, JCB, Caterpillar)
    • is an added advantage
    • Knowledge of generating sets (Perkins, Cummins, etc.) will be desired
    • Age: 25 – 40

    Store Officer

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for inventory management and stock monitoring.
    • Organise regular/periodic stock count exercises and ensure discrepancies are resolved on a timely basis.
    • Ensure the store is optimally utilised by constantly reviewing layout, space utilisation and material flow to identify improvement areas.
    • Ensure daily records of stores transactions are uploaded onto the system on a regular basis.
    • Implement approved HSE policies and procedures for stores safety.
    • Pursue FIFO (First In, First Out) stock administration technique to accomplish no expiry or write-off.
    • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the store; file records as required
    • Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered the Inventory/Materials Management System.
    • Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • BA / B.Sc / HND in any Social Science or a related discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Stores Officer
    • Computer literacy is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications

    Procurement Officer

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing
    • Draft an appropriate service level agreement to properly evaluate the performance of suppliers, and report on this on a regular basis.
    • Work with internal stakeholders (HOUs/HBUs) to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
    • Responsible for order placement timing, supply / demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance evaluation
    • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
    • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
    • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Minimum of a OND in any Social Science discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as a Procurement Officer
    • Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications
    • Procurement Software and Asset Software experience is an added advantage.

    IT Supervisor

    Primary Responsibilities

    • In conjunction with the IT Administrator, develops, maintains, and enhance the IT tools, processes, and procedures.
    • When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate secondary level of support resource or management (IT Administrator) for resolution.
    • Provide first level technical assistance by responding to trouble calls, questions and enquiries.
    • Rebuild PC’s with fresh installation of OS or upgrade when necessary. Provide software support on company approved and licensed application and OS.
    • Timely replacement of toner cartridges and also ensure that the copiers are clean, tidy and remain operational at all time.
    • To take inventory list of desktop and laptops, update records of active equipment including those under repair, serviceable, non-serviceable items.
    • Manage user access token. Administer user network identification and perform general networking connectivity issues on user computers. Record and build a database of known/reported user issues, problems, causes, solution and workaround.
    • In charge of computer consumables (mouse & pad, keyboard) and disbursement to user when required
    • Provide training and support to end users

    Qualifications / Experience

    • B.Sc / HND (2.1) in Computer Science / Engineering or related courses
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience.

    Nurse

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assess patients’ needs and provide appropriate medicaltreatment
    • Provide psychological and emotional counselling and support
    • Perform standard diagnostic checks (Blood pressure measurements, Blood sugar checks, etc.).
    • Oversee and track patient’s condition and document their recovery and progress
    • Provide instant medical care in emergencies
    • Adhere to all relevant medical care, health and safety rules and regulations
    • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their wards.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Diploma or B.Sc in Nursing, Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Valid Nursing License
    • Minimum of 2 years’ Nursing experience
    • Computer literacy qualification is essential.
    • Expertise in health presentation.

    Head of Security

    Duties / Responsibilities

    • Support the achievement of company operational targets with the strict minimum number of security incidents.
    • Organize and supervise the teams of Security Guards, with the assistance of his Security Supervisors, in order to ensure a peaceful operation at all times on the Estates.
    • Maintain, in cooperation with the Workshop Manager, a fleet of vehicles commensurate to the needs of the task, and issue documented recommendations with regards to additional or different equipment requirements.
    • Keeps a constant working relationship with local law enforcement agencies (police, MoPol, Army) to get their full support if the need arises.
    • Keep an updated planning of all Security activities, including trainings, patrols, staff hires and layoffs, to keep the Security Department optimally dimensioned with the Company operations.
    • Report regularly to the Managing Director, Agric Director, Technical Director and all other Heads of Departments about past, ongoing and planned activities, and flag all existing or potential issues, with proposed solutions.
    • Support and assist Agric Director and ESG teams in the implementation of all environmental and health and safety initiatives
    • Strictly abide to the highest standards in Security Management, in full compliance with:
      • IFC Performance Standards 4 guidelines:
        • Handbook on the Use of Security Forces in Private Sector Projects
        • Risk Assessments
        • Security Management Plans
        • Contracting with Private Security
        • Engaging with Public Security Forces
    • Assist with reporting against targets and KPIs to GM/ MD SARO to assess and improve business performance.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
    • Age Requirement: 30 – 45 years.
