    Machine Operator(Sachet Water Line)

    To operate, monitor, and maintain sachet water production machines efficiently and safely to ensure the continuous and hygienic packaging of water in line with production targets and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate sachet water filling and sealing machines.
    • Monitor machine performance, detect irregularities, and adjust settings to maintain optimal output.
    • Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines to ensure hygienic production.
    • Load raw materials such as rolls of packaging film and ensure water supply is uninterrupted.
    • Inspect finished sachets for defects such as leaks, poor seals, or incorrect volume.
    • Report faults or breakdowns to the maintenance team promptly.
    • Keep accurate records of production quantity, machine performance, and downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with company hygiene, safety, and quality policies (e.g., NAFDAC, HACCP standards).
    • Support other team members during production and assist in loading packed sachets for dispatch.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
    • Technical/vocational training in mechanical or production operations is an added advantage.

     

    • 1–2 years of experience operating sachet water machines (e.g., automated or semi-automated sealing machines).
    • Experience in a water or beverage production environment is preferred.
    • Basic understanding of machine operations and mechanics.
    • Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

    Job Description

    • Operate, monitor, and adjust bottling and packaging machinery to ensure efficient and continuous production.
    • Inspect bottles and caps for defects and ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards.

    To operate and maintain the bottle blowing machine to ensure timely production of high-quality PET bottles used for water packaging, while adhering to safety, hygiene, and production standards.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Operate the bottle blowing machine efficiently to produce PET bottles in various sizes (e.g., 500ml, 750ml, 1.5L, etc.).
    • Monitor machine parameters and adjust settings as needed to ensure proper shaping, thickness, and strength of bottles.
    • Conduct pre-startup checks and ensure the availability of raw materials like PET preforms, compressed air, and molds.
    • Inspect blown bottles for defects such as cracks, irregular shapes, or uneven finishes, and separate rejected items.
    • Lubricate and clean machines regularly to maintain optimal performance and reduce downtime.
    • Report any mechanical or operational issues to the maintenance team promptly.
    • Maintain accurate production records, including the quantity of bottles produced and any faults encountered.
    • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), health and safety guidelines, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.
    • Assist in mold changes when switching between bottle sizes.

    • Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
