Operations Manager at Merat Water

To oversee the daily operations of the bottling facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met while leading a team of production staff.

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all bottling line operations to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
• Monitor quality control procedures and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise and schedule production staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage training programs.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment run efficiently.
• Maintain accurate production records, generate performance reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other food safety standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, reduce downtime, and manage crisis situations effectively.
• Support strategic planning and budget management within the production department.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability..

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Business Management, or related field.
• Master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, HACCP) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or beverage bottling environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of bottling operations, food safety standards, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs.
• Physically fit and capable of working in fast-paced production environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
