    Senior Nursing Officer

    DUTIES: 

    • Accurately assess and record patients’ vital signs.
    • Perform wound dressing for both routine and emergency cases.
    • Conduct eye lavage, ear syringing, and administer parenteral medications as required.
    • Initiate and manage intravenous infusions when necessary.
    • Administer all routine immunizations in accordance with medical guidelines.
    • Assess visual acuity using the Snellen chart.
    • Escort critically ill patients to external healthcare facilities when needed.
    • Perform minor surgical procedures such as incision and drainage of abscesses.
    • Suture minor lacerations under appropriate clinical conditions.
    • Record daily patient attendance using the clinic’s electronic system.
    • Clean, sterilize (autoclave), and properly store nursing instruments.
    • Monitor and replenish the clinic’s emergency box and resuscitation trolley as needed.
    • Deliver health education across various areas of nursing practice.
    • Provide clinical consultations when required.
    • Prepare medication bills outside of regular working hours.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION:

    • BSc in Nursing/ Nursing Science with any two (2) of the following: Diploma in Public/Occupational Health Nursing; Family Planning Certificate; Post Basic Diploma in Accident & Emergency Nursing; Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Theatre Techniques; Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Paediatric Nursing; Diploma in Nursing Science.

    COMPETENCIES:

    The ideal candidate must have:

    • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in at least (3) of the following areas; Post Basic Diploma in Accident and Emergency unit; Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Theatre Techniques; Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Paediatric Nursing; Outpatient Departments and Medical wards; Community Health Nursing.
    • Good organizational skills and demonstrate ability to work under pressure.
    • Experience in carrying out basic laboratory procedures such as rapid malaria test, urinalysis and blood sugar using a glucometer.

    Power House Manager

    DUTIES: 

    • Manage and control all powerhouse activities.
    • Supervise general maintenance of powerhouse operations to ensure consistent and reliable electrical energy supply to the institute.
    • Oversees all the activities of powerhouse Staff to achieve operational objectives.
    • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new electrical equipment, including transformers, CCT breakers, (RMUs), and generators.
    • Maintain 22 distribution transformer substations (both industrial and domestic), with the incorporating RMUs.
    • Supervise the maintenance of approximately 14 kilometers of 11kV underground high-tension (HT) cables.
    • Maintenance of about 14kilometers 11kv underground H.T. cables.
    • Oversee the upkeep of about 3kilometers of the institute’s dedicated 33kV overhead power line.
    • Operate and maintain 4 × 1500kVA and 2000kVA generators, 11kV and 33kV panels, and step-up transformers.
    • Manage tripping units, battery banks, and associated protection systems.
    • Maintain 2 × 5000kVA (5MVA) power transformers to ensure performance.
    • Maintain accurate records of all powerhouse operations and maintenance activities.
    • Verify electricity bills before submission for payment approval.
    • Provide technical training and mentorship to subordinates in line with powerhouse operations.
    • Coordinate the activities of contractors involved in powerhouse projects.
    • Liaise with personnel to ensure proper maintenance of the institute’s dedicated power line.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION:

    • Possession of Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
    • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of Eight (8) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment. is an added advantage.

    COMPETENCIES:

    The ideal candidate must:

    • Have in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including the operation and maintenance of RMUs.
    • Be experienced in handling heavy-duty generators within large industrial or institutional environments.
    • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Be proficient in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.

    Power House Supervisor

    DUTIES: 

    • Carry out general maintenance of power house.
    • Perform routine activities on the power house equipment.
    • Be involved in the activities of smooth and constant electrical energy to the institute.
    • Writing reports of activities and taking of data.
    • Confirm the quantity and quality of AGO received.
    • Processing of daily activities records.
    • Receive the monthly PHCN bills.
    • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new electrical equipment, including transformers, CCT breakers, (RMUs) e.t.c.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION:

    • HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or any other related field. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

    • Be a computer literate.
    • Display good knowledge of electrical & power systems.
    • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Have high attention to detail.

    Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Supervisor

    DUTIES: 

    • Coordinate daily R&A workshop activities.
    • Organize work schedules for all refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
    • Allocate subordinates for servicing, maintenance and replacing of R&A equipment.
    • Supervise subordinates to ensure jobs are carried out effectively.
    • Provide daily information on completed work, work in progress and pending jobs.
    • Schedule quarterly preventive maintenance of R&A equipment.
    • Supervise staff in air conditioning and refrigerating unit.
    • Read sketches, schematics and wiring diagrams.
    • Carry out work on VRV or VRF air-conditioning system.
    • Monitor and update inventory of spare parts.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION:

    • HND/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any other related field. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

    COMPETENCIES:

    The ideal candidate must:

    • Be a computer literate.
    • Have good knowledge of cooling system.
    • Have ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
    • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

    DUTIES: 

    • Develop and implement communication strategies to support project objectives.

    • Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and digital content creation skills.
    • Be proficient in managing social media platforms, as well as skilled in photography, graphic design, video editing, and digital marketing.
    • Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
