    Travel and Logistics Specialist - (SW & North Nigeria)

    Role Summary/Purpose

    • This role will provide local level security support for GE personnel and locations in the South West States, North Central, North East, North West Nigeria due to heightened security concerns in the region

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Provide security logistics support to GE businesses to ensure that all our actions and activities are assessed and security risks minimized to ALARP
    • Provide local level information gathering, analysis and dissemination to serve as an early warning mechanism and reduce GE exposure to security incidents and concerns
    • Maintain interface with GE travelers and businesses to ensure SCM Team knows who is where in the region
    • Provide ongoing security awareness training to GE personnel working and traveling to the region

    Reports:

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
    • Professional attitude promoting the GE Beliefs
    • Communication skills necessary for interacting with personnel in and outside organizations.
    • Ability to work effectively as a team member or independently.
    • Ability to produce accurate and timely reports within a strict reporting framework.
    • Must be creative, imaginative and stable in character, well organized and have power of persuasion, capable to interface with management, law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders
    • Effective in communications, analytical, good multi-tasking skill, must understand security thinking
    • Tactical thinker

    Payroll Leader, West Africa

    • Payroll Leader is responsible for the quality delivery of payroll processes to the GE businesses through an outsource payroll platform.

    • Women’s Healthcare Product Marketing develops a regional product/portfolio strategy including positioning, market segmentation and targeting and installed base retention.

    • Collecting win/loss & competitive insight on product portfolios at regional level; feedback to global product; recommend and develop marketing programs to adjust product positioning and improve win rate and share positon.
    • Collaborating with commercial leadership and global marketing to develop the region market and orders forecast.
    • Ensuring regional marketing plans & execution are aligned with global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) to grow orders and share.
    • Providing region input to business cases for products/upgrades that are at concept stage, work with Global Product Marketing to develop, test and prototype new product ideas
    • Employing clinical and industry trend analysis, and market share and competitive analysis relevant to a product / portfolio.
    • Conducting in-depth research to define customer problem statement, success metrics, clinical and economic needs, buying cycles, and personas (to support development of global MRD) .

    • Prioritizing and mapping global customer segments and work with Field Marketing on demand creation activities to achieve NPI and business objectives.

    • Developing and supporting product-specific KOL’s and advisory boards.
    • Developing regional thought leadership and advertising and promotion strategy in support of demand creation and funnel acceleration activities.
    • Adapting global marketing assets (including sales tools) to ensure that the region commercial organization has the right tools to position and sell product configurations / portfolio effectively.
    • Training direct / indirect sales channels.
