    Senior Coordinator Data Analyst

    Purpose of the position

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data analyst to join our organization. The Senior Data analyst will be responsible for managing, analyzing spatial and non spatial datasets, conducting spatial analysis, and providing strategic insights through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis and a deep understanding of statistical methods. This role requires exceptional skills in advanced data analytics, modeling, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a strong attention to detail.

    What you'll do

    Who you are

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to successfully perform this job.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Geoinformatics, Statistic, Geomatics, Mining Engineering, Data Analytics or related field
    • A postgraduate Degree / Master's degree in Data science, Machine learning modeling
    • Minimum of proven five (06) years experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a senior role.
    • Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis and manipulation
    • Expert in data engineering and has done projects using Python or R programming language(Building pipelines)
    • Expert in SQL, CQL, ThinkETL, Archetype Query Language (AQL)
    • Expert in disease modeling with Python or R, spatial disease modeling is a plus
    • Expert in Machine Learning application using Python or/and R
    • Expert in SQL, CQL, ThinkETL, Archetype Query Language (AQL)
    • Strong understanding of advanced statistical methods and techniques, including regression analysis, time series forecasting, and machine learning.
    • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with prior experience mentoring or leading a team of data analysts.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Field Monitors

    About the Role 

    • The Field Monitors will be responsible for monitoring various cooperating partners', vendors’ activities, and other activities within the monitoring and accountability program. The role involves working closely with beneficiaries, cooperating partners, retailers and vendors, community members and leaders, and other stakeholders to support the effective implementation of monitoring and assessment activities.

    What you’ll do  

    • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to the state Coordinators.
    • Work with the LGA cooperating partners CP to monitor WFP food assistance program deliverables.
    • Monitor and report issues in the CP food distribution sites on the quality and quantity of assistance provided to beneficiaries.
    • Observe and report the process and timeliness of food distribution assistance delivery.
    • Conduct FGD on the beneficiary's level of understanding about their entitlements
    • Conduct onsite monitoring to ascertain beneficiary experiences at distribution points and beneficiary level of satisfaction with WFP’s assistance.
    • Conduct retailer monitoring of selected WFP Retailer’s/trader’s standards of implementing WFP’s programme.
    • Assess the beneficiary utilization of assistance received from WFP.
    • Conduct regular Warehouse monitoring to validate stock balances and the status of food commodities delivered,
    • Coordinates all TPM activities in the assigned LGA.
    • Implement the team's monthly work plan and report to the State Coordinator.
    • Ensures work packages and products are delivered to appropriate quality, in a set timeline.
    • Upload field data collected to the WFP server, and safeguard all allocated work tools.
    • Submits monitoring reports daily and ensures daily field Data submissions after validation.
    • Maintain and Update plans, risk, issue and quality registers as well as any other registers/logs delegated by the State Coordinator.
    • Regular supervision of field monitors and activity converges of TSFP, CBT-voucher
    • Distribution monitoring, Livelihood activities, market price data collection and assigned field-level assessment.
    • Attend monthly debriefing meetings and provide LGA-level updates to the program manager.
    • Works closely with government, stakeholders and Cooperating Partners within the LGA to ensure smooth implementation of all TPM activities.
    • Participates in coordination meetings in the LGA.
    • Work closely with the security team to ensure all field activities are implemented within a safe environment.
    • Reports directly to the State Coordinator on any tasks as assigned.
    • Use assigned tools to monitor and report filed activity as assigned.
    • Participate and promote a positive, supportive, cooperative team environment.
    • Adheres to policies and procedures.

    Protection, AAP and AAP Officers

    About the Role

    • The protection officer is responsible for implementing and managing protection, community feedback mechanisms and Accountability to Affected Population activities and engagements, and other activities within the monitoring and accountability program. The role involves working closely with beneficiaries, cooperating partners, retailers and vendors, community members and leaders, and other stakeholders to support the effective implementation of monitoring and assessment activities.

    What you’ll do

    • Contribute to design and the implementation of protection activities under the supervision of the line manager.
    • Conduct protection monitoring activities at community and household levels following the project plan, organizational policies, and donor requirements using the established quantitative and qualitative tools.
    • Monitor and report protection concerns arising from WFP food assistance.
    • Report protection incidents, concerns, and challenges identified within target communities to the Protection Coordinator.
    • Contribute to timely reports (daily updates, weekly reports and Monthly report).
    • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the supervisor promptly.
    • Identify and mitigate potential protection risks related to the Monitoring and Assessment.
    • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the rights and dignity of beneficiaries.
    • Manage the project's community Feedback Mechanisms, ensuring the community remains central to the intervention.
    • Verify data and information collected, service availability and access through interviews, direct observation and triangulation
    • Facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) among community members on selected topics.
    • Regular visits to activity sites within the LGA, ensuring comprehensive coverage of project activities.
    • Plan and implement community engagement, sensitization, information dissemination, and awareness-raising activities.
    • Contribute to the mapping of protection stakeholders and follow up with communities.
    • Identify cases of protection concerns at household and community level for referral to internal services or specialized agencies.
    • Support in planning and facilitating community members and stakeholder training, developing training materials, writing training reports and managing logistics.
    • Provide support to field monitors and other staff involved in monitoring and accountability activities.
    • Collaborate with other NGOs, government agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate WFP food assistance activities.
    • Represent eHA in meetings and other external engagements at the field level, ensuring eHA visibility.
    • Maintain and/or develop an adequate network with all relevant stakeholders at the field level to have a good analysis of the situation and updated information relevant to the work of the organization.
    • Carry out activities in line with the do no harm principle.
    • Coordinate, implement, monitor, and report on gender equality and women empowerment programs.
    • Conduct community-based dialogues and facilitate discussions on women’s rights, leadership, and gender equality.

    About the Role

    • The Community Engagement Assistant will play a vital role in bridging the gap between the organization and the community by facilitating communication, supporting project implementation, managing administrative tasks, and fostering collaborative relationships.

    What you’ll do

    • Work with teams to design and implement community-based activities that encourage community members to express their needs and preferences. This involves planning awareness campaigns and information dissemination efforts.

    • Establish mechanisms for recording, tracking, and responding to complaints in a systematic and timely manner to ensure accountability and transparency in the resolution process.
    • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling complaints
    • Uphold the principles of confidentiality and sensitivity when handling complaints to protect the privacy and dignity of complainants.
    • Establish safeguards and protocols to maintain the confidentiality of complainants identities and sensitive information throughout the complaint-handling process.
    • Document and analyze feedback to inform project improvements.
    • Analyze feedback data to identify recurring themes, trends, and areas for improvement in project implementation or service delivery
    • Provide support and guidance to project staff on addressing complaints
    • Ensuring that beneficiaries understand how to access the feedback mechanism, what types of issues they can raise, and what to expect in terms of response times and follow-up actions.
