We need a Data and Automation Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists and BI analysts to build robust data solutions for the Data Science and Business Intelligence teams.
About the role:
Develop, maintain, and test infrastructure for transforming data that feeds our dashboards and machine learning models. Run complex queries over data and manipulate Database Management Systems (DBMS). Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Implement feature generation and machine learning model scripts. Code, test, and troubleshoot APIs/endpoints to enable other company assets to integrate with and consume data science and business intelligence products. Create necessary connections to expose transformed data to other systems or tools.
Is this you?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) with 3+ years of professional experience.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Scala).
Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases and query authoring.
Experience with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience designing, building, and testing API connections.
Experience with data pipeline
Experience with Talend (or any other ETL tool such as SSIS or Pentaho).
