RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the operation functions of Oshey, as per the Organizational chart.
• Hold regular briefings and meetings with all staff.
• Ensure full compliance with operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.
•  Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.
• Manage the on-going profitability of the Oshey, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
• Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the Oshey Bar & Chops and management.
• Deliver Oshey budget goals and set other short and long-term strategic goals for Oshey.
• Developing improvement actions, carry out cost savings.
• A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
•  Closely monitor Oshey's stock count on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
• Come up with innovative ideas to boost sales
• Prepare weekly financial reporting for the owners and stakeholders.
• Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential l equipment and services.
• Coordination with Heads of Department for the execution of all activities and functions.
• Be accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
• Provide effective leadership to Oshey team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the hospitality industry
• Experience in opening, managing, or re-positioning a Lounge with a clear track record.
• Strong management skills; Ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals and provide coaching, advice, and assistance as required.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent computer system skills.

 Job Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning of work area allocated before opening the store
• Check shelf space, availability of stock
• Ensure products are well displayed and have updated/ correct price tag
• Check best before/expiry date and remerchandise based on FIFO
• “Clean as you go” policy is to be strictly followed strictly
• Always ensure aisles are free of baskets/trolleys/cartons to ensure ease in customers shopping
• Collecting change cash before login at cash point
• Ensure change cash is counted and recorded in petty cash register on daily basis
• Maintain the counting accuracy to control inventory
• Be proactive and show interest in your customers

• Take customers’ orders
• Provide excellent customer service to Everyone who visits O’shey
• Check customers’ ID if necessary to be sure they are of legal drinking age
• Inform guests about restaurant customer loyalty program or any specials and promotions
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Maintain a neat and clean fining area
•  Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and communicate order details to the kitchen staff as needed
• Stay up to date on any menu changes and daily specials
• Replenish condiment and napkin containers
• Deliver cheques and process bill payment
