    Finance (Tax) Officer

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Tax Officer to assist in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for our organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Tax Compliance:

    • Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other taxes.
    • Ensure timely payment of taxes and manage tax-related correspondence.

    Tax Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and court decisions.
    • Analyze tax data and provide insights to management.

    Financial Reporting:

    • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, including tax-related disclosures.
    • Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

    Requirements:

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
    • Partially qualified or pursuing a professional certification 

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in taxation
    • Experience with tax compliance and financial reporting.

    Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
    • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    Finance Officer - Ikorodu

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations, provide financial insights, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries, and conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
    • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, handle day-to-day accounting processes, and oversee general ledger entries.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor and analyze expenditures and revenues.
    • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure tax returns are filed on time and in compliance with applicable tax laws, and support internal and external audits.
    • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability, and manage banking relationships and financial transactions.
    • Cost Control: Identify cost-cutting opportunities and implement efficiency measures, and track and analyze expenses to ensure they remain within budget.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related fields.
    • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles, with expertise in financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime Gold), advanced Excel skills, accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), and understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
    • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, time management and prioritization skills, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month

    Salary
    N500,000 - N800,000 Monthly.
