    Field Service Representative II / Planner

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Understands and complies with Solar and customer HSSE policies and procedures. Ensure the work permit system is complied with.
    • Ensure safe site and practices. Participates by attending general safety and toolbox safety meetings and completing all required safety training including CLMS training. Also suggests safety improvements.
    • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Solar Engineering specifications, recommendations and best practices.
    • Must have basic knowledge of methods and experience in the maintenance of various equipment associated with primary and utility equipment.
    • Must be able to proactively recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems at and take appropriate action to prevent a serious safety hazard from developing and causing damage to equipment.
    • Provide daily reports to the relevant manager on projects or daily work. Keep abreast of pending work and personnel required to complete the projects.
    • Ensure that necessary parts are available and submit materials requisitions when required.
    • Accurately report and update all equipment histories to effectively forecast equipment utilization and efficiency.
    • Coordinate any changes necessary to ensure operations are efficient and minimal downtime is required.
    • Ensure effective communication and reporting to immediate supervision and if applicable, customer representatives.
    • Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems. Solve problems with little or no supervision in a timely and cost effective manner. Will be aware of procedures and options for identifying sources of information and technical advice. Will have sufficient product knowledge to repair and adjust minor mechanical/electrical components/systems and will be capable of reading applicable drawings and technical manuals.
    • Work individually or with assigned FSR’s on the preventive/corrective maintenance. Will be required to assist in a technical manner with the operations and maintenance crew in any area if the workload exceeds the number of personnel available.
    • Monitor maintenance services or installation support to ensure they are carried out within Solar Engineering specifications, recommendations and in a safe manner in accordance with the HSSE policies and procedures.
    • Utilize the Work Force Management Process and system to manage work orders. This includes performing pre=work by reviewing and updating site safety information, managing employee information, and availability.
    • The WFM application will also be used to record and report time, manage software and drawing changes, generate daily reports, review hardship data, and manage the task library.
    • In addition to the above, the following fleet planning responsibilities is also expected for this role including but not limited to:
      • Material, job & outage planning activities related to the COVERED EQUIPMENT (Positive Materials identification, Gantt chart development, site execution planning and coordination).
      • Support Customer Turbomachinery team in management of spares, tools and consumables for routine, planned, corrective work and unplanned outages.
      • Assist in implementing good practices for storage and preservation of capital and critical spares covered in Customer Warehouses. Customer will be responsible at all times for the preservation and contents of the inventory in their warehouses.
    • General inventory management scope for Fleet Engineer may include but not limited to:
      • Identification of critical spare parts.
      • Tracking of capital spares movement.
      • Update on min/max inventory data.
      • Provide information on spares obsolescence.
      • Assist in tracking of inventory depletion.
      • Coordinate Service Bulletin implementation on covered fleets and maintain an up to data database.

    Qualifications

    • The incumbent will have served a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent period of training. Will possess a technical qualification e.g. Degree, HNC/ HND, ONC, C&G, Aviation Engineer’s license, Marine Engineers Certificate and will have 3–5 years experience in a related industry.
    • Higher experience/skill levels may balance lower academic qualifications, and vice versa.
    • Experience in an overseas/offshore environment is essential, also familiarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems.
    • This experience may be either Mechanical or Instrument/ Electrical and the FSR II will be capable of a cross-disciplined approach to the job.
    • The FSR II will be familiar with Gas Turbine theory and operational practice including control system logic, driven equipment and processes both upstream and downstream.
    • The FSR II will have the ability to program and basic troubleshooting on PLC systems.
    • Where regionally required, the FSR II will hold and maintain an offshore medical and survival certificate and/or other training/certifications as needed.

    Territory Manager

    Job Description
    What you will do:

    • Market representative of MWM brand in Nigeria.
    • Support of MWM gas genset (and extended MWM portfolio) business grow in the region, both from new engines sales and aftermarket service perspective
    • Business Development of new customers in region through direct and indirect (Partners) channels, with focus on industrial applications, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power generation.
    • Close collaboration with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Engineering FEED companies to ensure early engagement of MWM on all relevant projects
    • Support of existing customers in the region through direct and indirect (Partner) channels
    • Continuous development of the MWM presence in the assigned regions, including organization and participation on industrial workshops, conferences and trade fairs (in collaboration with MWM head office)
    • Supervision of preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with other stake holders within MWM head office
    • Management and support of technical and commercial proposal negotiations in coordination with relevant decision-makers in MWM, with both Direct customers and Partners
    • Responsible for high level of forecast accuracy for incoming orders and working closely with his line management to ensure timely product delivery

    Requirements

    • Must have a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Business studies or Engineering with specialization in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering/electrical engineering or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
    • At least 5 years of successful experience in international sales and/or project management in industrial environments.
    • Extensive knowledge of Industrial customers in assigned region (Nigeria), with special attention on Industrial, Refining, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power Generation, MMM, and other major industries in the region with be considered a strong advantage.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional language of advantage.
    •  High level of initiative, open-mindedness, and intercultural competence to create a team atmosphere.
    • Professional and confident appearance and the ability to represent the company in front of a C suite of major customers in the region.

    • Above-average commitment and willingness to travel (at least 50% of the time)
    • Not relocation or expat package will be offered.
