    Protocol Officer

    Job Summary 

    The principal duty of the Protocol Officer is to foster understanding and cooperation between individuals, corporations, organizations, and most importantly expatriates.

    The incumbent manages all ticketing administration processes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner for the business – queue management, schedule changes, cancellations, exchanges, re-issues, debit memos, e-ticketing, etc

    Job Description

    • Make flight booking arrangements for staff on local and international travels
    • Obtain prices from various airlines to find the best flight prices and options check-in for flights, select seats per staff preference, send boarding passes.
    • Procure necessary medical insurance information for all travels including itineraries related to flights & accommodation as requested
    • Managing databases of frequent flyer miles, tickets, and other important data
    • Liaise with compliance manager on expatriate quotas, visa permit, and residency card and immigration documentations for expatriates.
    • Arrange hotel and airport transfers travel packages in anticipation of travel
    • Arranging lodging and accommodation for staff on local and international travels
    • Plan and arrange logistics for airport pickups and local movement abroad
    • Carry out research of airlines and airfares around the world including their coverage and destinations
    • Maintaining records of meetings, phone calls, and other communications between the agency and foreign officials
    • Develop strategy goals, objectives and programs for the team.
    • Develop itineraries and agendas
    • Conducting research to identify best practices in security protocols and procedures and making recommendations for improvements
    • Managing other protocol officers
    • Providing training to employees on proper protocol methods when interacting with foreigners
    • Managing security operations during high-level diplomatic visits, such as arranging for security personnel, equipment, and facilities
    • Model polite behaviour
    • Prevent etiquette breaches or embarrassing cultural blunders.         
    • Maintain, prioritize and file confidential records

    Requirements

    • First bachelor’s degree/HND in business administration or related fields
    • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in managing expatriates
    • Relevant certification is an added advantage

    Technical

    • Proven experience as an expatriate protocol officer
    • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

    Wealth Manager

    DESCRIPTION:

    The primary objective of this role is to develop quality business relationships with the organization’s clients to ensure optimum client acquisition, retention, and income generation from sale of company’s investment products. Working as a consultant to clients at all levels including HNIs and UHNIs, the Relationship Manager uses their financial expertise to provide financial advice to clients while working to improve the company’s competitive advantage within her operating environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Relationship Management
    • Advising clients on financial products and services
    • Review clients' portfolio and plans regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, environmental concerns, or financial performance indicates a need for plan reassessment.
    • Managing Investment and Assets.
    • Recommend to clients, strategies in cash management, investment planning or other areas to help them achieve their financial goals.
    • Implement financial recommendations and assist with plan implementation.
    • Contact clients periodically to determine any changes in their financial status.
    • Investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with client’s financial plan.
    • Monitor financial market trends to ensure that client’s plans are responsive.
    • Devise debt liquidation plans that include payoff priorities and timelines.
    • Analyze Financial information with client to learn about their financial goals, risk tolerance and current asset allocation.
    • Provide financial advisory to high net-worth clients on the ideal asset allocation structure.
    • Ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are strictly observed and followed.
    • Monitor capital market trends/development and provide relevant market insight to support the investment decision making process.
    • Optimize the use of technological tools to improve investment management process and operational efficiency.
    • Act as a good ambassador of the organization through proper conduct always to portray the organization in good light.
    • Utilize tactical negotiation skills to improve funding cost of the fixed income portfolio and other funds under management.
    • Develop a weekly strategic prospecting plan and share with the Head, Wealth Management
    • Report all feedback from clients to the Head, Wealth Management.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
    • Strong business acumen to be able to recognize and interpret commercial opportunities.
    • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.
    • Ability to influence various key stakeholders in referring and cross-offering potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth.
    • Highly agile in learning, adapting to ever-changing business environment, and with strong ability to cope with fast, dynamic pace.
    • Must work within the Assets Management Industry
