    Events Marketing Manager

    Job Description
    In a few sentences:

We are looking for an event manager who has end to end event delivery experience to join our team. Your expertise will include sourcing, negotiating, contracting, program planning, on-site event management, budget management and final reconciliation.
    • You are comfortable in managing external vendors and suppliers including contract management, can work individually or as part of a wider team. You thrive on working to key project milestones and are not afraid to question or bring your ideas and solutions to the table.

    What You’ll Do

    • Plan and execute a range of events across Kenya including logistics and website / delegate registration / communication
    • Consult with stakeholders to gather all requirements to deliver the right event solution to meet their objectives
    • Manage external vendors and suppliers – for sourcing, negotiating, contracting and event delivery – maximising spend to drive savings but not compromise on quality
    • Financial responsibility of the event budget – from budget preparation to final reconciliation
    • Keep up to date with company and legal guidelines for event health and safety (e.g., COVID protocols), privacy (e.g., GDPR), and security; and provide guidance to stakeholders
    • Work closely with Associate Vice President of the region, local sales team and global education team to deliver successful educational seminars and workshops

    Qualifications
    Competencies Required:

    • Event management experience and some experience of managing online events is preferred.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    • Ability to travel and attend events across the country.
    • Advanced organizational and presentation skills
    • Excellent command of the English language, with high level of verbal and communication skills.
    • University-level degree, preferably in Marketing and any relevant additional certifications will be an added advantage
    • Self-driven and ambitious.

    AVP Commercial Marketing, Nigeria

    Job Description

    • As a AVP of Marketing for Nigeria, you will be joining Exinity at a key phase of exponential growth with responsibility for the planning and execution of the marketing strategy across the country and ensuring that these plans are in line with the brand’s strategies and future plans. The key purpose of this role is to bring marketing leadership in Nigeria and to help grow our customer base, working closely with local teams, experts and customer-facing teams to drive business needs.
    • As a member of the Commercial team, your role is essential in ensuring that local Nigerian audience needs and expectations are aligned with the brand’s proposition and promise, and that you are able to lead and manage operations whilst achieving revenue targets.
    • You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managed remotely and collaborating with teams stationed across multiple locations around the world.
    • You will also be working closely with the local team on the ground.
    • This is a highly visible, high impact role that would result in significant contribution to the business.

    Responsibilities
    What you’ll do:

    • Build brand awareness and drive customer conversion by developing, localising and implementing market relevant strategies to meet customer needs and maximise revenue in Nigeria
    • Planning and managing broadcast marketing
    • Planning and managing seminars and webinars
    • Partner with key stakeholders in global digital marketing, brand, product and technology functions to articulate local customer needs and nuances so they drive engagement, acquisition, reactivation, retention and overall satisfaction
    • Collaborate with remote and local education and analysis teams to deliver on a key brand promise; educating and guiding traders through their experience with us
    • Work closely with global and regional client service and relationship managers to improve and localize our performance in the region
    • Manage websites supporting clients in Nigeria, defining user journeys and optimising experiences to achieve business objectives
    • Work closely with CRM, Creative and Customer Experience teams to deliver relevant and localised customer communications to clients across the region through global and local marketing channels
    • Work closely with brand team to plan social media campaigns that will promote our local trading services, seminars and educational offering
    • Agree and execute regular campaigns across promotions, digital display, out of home, events and sales-enablement
    • Measure and report on important KPIs, campaign performance and overall spend vs return on investment (PnL) to senior management
    • Share knowledge of the competitor landscape
    • Participate as an active and contributing member of Exinity’s marketing leadership team, simultaneously considering both regional and company level perspectives in determining priorities and directing internal and external resources

    Qualifications
    Competencies Required:

    • University-level Degree, preferably in Marketing and any relevant additional certifications will be an added advantage
    • Extensive marketing and brand experience within a financial services organisation of at least 7 – 10 years
    • Commercially driven with strong focus on data-led decisions and campaign prioritisation
    • Advanced organizational and presentation skills
    • Excellent command of the English language, with high level of verbal and communication skills.
    • Strong background in working with FX trading services and/or finance brands and/or local marketing agencies
    • Self-driven and ambitious
    • Customer-obsessed with passion for driving world-class marketing
