As a Digital and Content Creator (NYSC), you are responsible for developing, creating, and publishing engaging content across various digital platforms with a high level of creativity, quality, and consistency. Through your understanding of digital media, storytelling, and brand identity, you help strengthen the organisation’s online presence, promote its image, and drive audience engagement in line with business objectives.
You are also responsible for managing content calendars, producing multimedia content (including graphics, videos, and photography), and applying digital best practices such as SEO to improve visibility and reach. By monitoring performance metrics and analysing trends, you continuously optimise content strategies while collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and support overall organisational goals.
Responsiblities
Develop, create, edit, and publish engaging content across multiple digital platforms, including social media, websites, and video channels.
Plan and manage content calendars that align with brand objectives, campaigns, and marketing goals.
Generate creative content ideas and ensure all communication reflects the brand’s voice and identity.
Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve visibility, reach, and engagement across digital platforms.
Produce multimedia content, including photography, videography, graphics, reels, and short-form videos for social media and web use.
Edit and design visual assets using creative tools and software for campaigns, promotions, and day-to-day communication.
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as engagement, impressions, traffic, and conversions to optimize future content strategies.
Manage and grow the brand’s social media presence by scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and staying updated on digital trends.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure consistent messaging and support overall business objectives.
Support additional marketing and communications initiatives as required by the department
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing or Communications related field, HND, or any other relevant field is required.
Strong content creation, storytelling, copywriting, and editing skills.
Active and creative social media presence, with experience managing or growing
platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
Proficiency in content creation and editing tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud,
CapCut, Photoshop, Canva, and related software.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress is an added advantage.
Good understanding of digital marketing, audience engagement, brand positioning, and social media strategy.
Ability to analyze trends, interpret performance data, and make content recommendations based on insights.
Strong photography and videography skills with an eye for aesthetics, detail, and storytelling.
Creative thinker with excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
