    Deputy Registrar, Innovation and Research

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Responsibilities & Duties
    The Roles of the DR, Innovation and Research shall include:

    • Responding to internal and external opportunities, and using creativity to introduce new ideas, processes or services for the Institute.
    • Championing training and development initiatives in line with the reality of the marketplace.
    • Coordinating all plant, virtual and physical training programmes of the Institute.
    • Review the training syllabus as and when necessary.
    • Leading the formation of the Institute's think tank for new prospects and ideas.
    • Managing of the Institute's Library Services
    • Opening new revenue streams through training contacts.
    • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders in the areas of interest for the Institute's programmes.
    • Working with his/her team on drafting research proposals, selecting research methods and execution of all research projects.
    • Supervising the research team
    • Writing position papers and communique of the Institute as may be required by Council and Management
    • Creating and overseeing a comprehensive short and long-term innovation strategy for the institute.
    • Working with stakeholders to commercialise the publications of the institute.
    • Resuscitating the Institute's consultancy services.
    • Marketing of the training and consultancy arm of the Institute
    • Working closely with other units of the Institute to grow revenue.

    Qualifications, Qualities & Requirements

    • A Degree in any of the Liberal and Social Sciences including Corporate Governance, Management, Business, Finance, Law, Education, Psychology
    • PhD is an added advantage. Doctoral candidates conducting research in Corporate Governance and related field are also encouraged to apply.
    • Experience in Project Management may be an advantage
    • Minimum of eight (8) years working experience in a professional Institute or academic environment.
    • Must be a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

    Internal Auditor

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Responsibilities & Duties
    Roles of the Internal Auditor shall include:

    • Conducting Risk Assessment for the Institute and Suggesting Risk Control Strategies
    • Examining audit procedures to ensure control mechanisms are working
    • Identifying control gaps and improving upon them and highlighting areas of improvement.
    • Performing audit functions and documenting same according to International Audit Standard for the Finance and General-Purpose Committee,
    • Ensuring full compliance with ICSAN Internal Audit policy
    • Working closely with the Finance and Accounts department of the Institute on all control and risk management matters.
    • Overseeing the activities of the junior risk & audit assistant.

    Qualifications, Qualities and Requirements

    • Minimum of a B.Sc in Accounting, Finance and Banking.
    • A higher qualification would be an advantage
    • Must have a minimum of six ( 6 ) years post qualification experience
    • Must be a member of any of the following professional bodies: ICAN, ANAN ACCA, Institute of Internal Auditors.

    Training Manager

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Responsibilities & Duties
    The Training Manager roles shall include:

    • Working with the Institute's stakeholders to provide training needs of members
    • Designing and executing the training Calendar and Curriculum for the institute,
    • Working with and coordinating facilitators to ensure quality training delivery
    • Creating public awareness for the Institute's training programmes
    • Initiating and managing the training budget for the Institute
    • Generating income for the Institute through fee-paying programmes.

    Qualifications, Qualities and Requirements

    • A Degree in Human Capital Management Industrial Relations or any of the relevant Social Sciences
    • A higher Degree would be an advantage
    • He/She shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience heading the training department of a recognized organization.
    • Membership of one or more of the following professional bodies necessary: CIPD CIPM, NIM(C), ICSAN, NITAD, SHRM, CMD certified training would be an advantage.
