    Deputy Chief Accountant

    Job Description

    • Ensure that report of the various units under its control are timely submitted on or before deadlines
    • Review Senior Accountants reports and follow up to ensure timely closures of identify discrepancies
    • Ensure accuracy of TB on related task before the locking dates
    • Advises on locking of inventory and ledger on or before deadline dates on related task
    • Submit report & schedules of Accounts under its supervision (costed shipments and shipment account heads, CTA analysis report for the month, fixed asset reconciliation with schedules of additions, disposals and write off, all costing and inventory received & costed during the month, prepayment & provision schedules.
    • Submit monthly report of Foreign main cash, main cash, petty cash count report, advances, and IOU.
    • Monthly report on shortage account with updated status of expected date of refund
    • Ensure that transitory inventory Account heads (1103005,1103006,1103007) are nil for both JMG and Jamara before respective locking date for both entity)
    • Ensure post cost grid for WIP and internal assets are closed monthly and reported with accurate balances.
    • Supervises and ensure daily, quarterly, and yearly stock count reports and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
    • Ensures that petty cash & imprest account are timely re-imburse--- aim is to ensure that operational activities are not affected by lack of funds
    • Ensures that customer payments are timely receipted and accounted for within stipulated time- aim is to avoid delays in delivery and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Monthly review and report on all imprest accounts disbursement- aim is to ensure that payments were duly approved with proper backups
    • Attend to Auditors on inventory and costing and all related task under its supervision during audits
    • Submit monthly report on transitory account
    • Ensure proper coordination of branch activities—aim is to ensure that same process is followed and maintained by all branch account department.
    • Ensure timely resolution of conflict and issues raised within its various unit
    • Train and re-train staff under its supervision on chat of account, new changes, and processes relating to assign tasks

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance or it's equivalent.
    • Professional qualification - ACA, CMA, CPA, CIA or CFA will be added advantage.

    Skills / Experience:

    • Proficiency in ERP systems
    • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, provisioning, principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Efficient and effective time management
    • Ability to meet deadline
    • Supervisory skill
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data with strong analytical skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices

    Remuneration
    N350,000 - N550,000 gross monthly.

    Workshop Assistant Manager

    Job Description

    • Manage the entire workshop team for optimal productivity and out performance.
    • Coordinate the outsource team get work on time schedule given.
    • Prepare the PPM schedule and ensured parts availability before arrival of vehicle for service/plan maintenance, if to be done in JMG workshop.
    • Coordinate with spare store and ensure critical spare availability as per schedule plan.
    • Advise the corrective and predictive maintenance as when required for entire JMG fleet.
    • Workshop Assistant Manager to communicate/speaks to external Workshop to plan Maintenance for works which necessary to do it outside the JMG workshop and Get quotation thereafter get approval from GGM via HOD.
    • Workshop assistant manager coordinate and inform call center when vehicles are required to conduct service, to communicate to end-users or concern department HOD to send vehicle to workshop and ensure timely deliver the vehicle to end-users.
    • Workshop coordinators inform call center when vehicles are ready for delivery, to communicate to end-users or concern department HOD to take the delivery of vehicle from workshop.
    • Workshop assistant manager Issues Job Order for every vehicle to Workshop supervisor.
    • Check the inspection reports of vehicles and issue the workorder to workshop for repair.
    • Workshop coordinators update the spread sheet for Maintenance plan.
    • Conduct the test drive on vehicle on based of job completion/workorder.
    • Prepare the daily workshop progress report.
    • Check the spare quality and authenticity as when required.

    Requirements

    • Qualification - HND / Graduate in Automobile Engineering.
    • Experience – 10 to 15 years - worked in automobile service center as Senior Workshop Supervisor, must have hand on experience to diagnose, repair and inspection of Cars, SUV, Pickups, Trucks, and trailers such as Kia, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Sino, Volkswagen or Howo.

    Workshop Supervisor / Coordinator

    Location: Gbagada, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Inspect the vehicles once arrive to workshop and communicate the end-users/concern departments via email with inspection report.
    • Workshop coordinator checks required spare parts for service & repair and request from store if not available in store than raise the request via HOD to procurement team.
    • Workshop coordinator plans Maintenance based on PPM schedule and ensure parts availability before arrival of vehicle for service/plan maintenance, if to be done in JMG workshop.
    • Workshop coordinators communicate/speaks to external Workshop to plan Maintenance for works which necessary to do it outside workshop and Get quotation thereafter get approval from GGM via HOD.

    Salary
    N150,000 - N200,000 monthly (Gross)
