    Data Analyst Officer

    Job Purpose

    • To deliver actionable insights and in-depth data analysis that supports strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
    • This role focuses on developing and implementing business intelligence solutions, generating reports, and identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance improvement and achieve business goals.
    • The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and inform strategic initiatives.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
    • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and analytical outputs.

    Business Intelligence Solutions:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence tools and systems.
    • Collaborate with IT and software developers to optimize data models and reporting tools.
    • Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for efficiency.
    • Create predictive and prescriptive analytics models to anticipate business trends.

    Strategic Decision Support:

    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform business strategies.
    • Support margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives by leveraging data-driven insights.
    • Participate in feasibility studies for new projects and products, providing data-backed assessments

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Accuracy and timeliness of reports and insights delivered.
    • Implementation rate of recommendations provided to management.
    • Measurable improvements in operational efficiency and cost reduction.
    • Quality and usability of business intelligence tools and dashboards.

    Job Specifications
    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or related field

    Professional Requirements:

    • Certifications in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Certification) are an asset.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as data analyst officer or similar role.
    • Experience in leveraging data to inform business strategies.
    • Proficient with data visualization tools like Power Bi, PowerPoint and tableau.

    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel or similar platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
    • Expertise in database management and data warehousing concepts.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Understanding of global economic trends and industry-specific dynamics relevant to the organization.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    Decision Expectations

    • Provide insight on product performance over a trend.
    • Identify strategic opportunities based on data analysis.
    • Support management in evaluating the feasibility of new initiatives.

    Working Conditions:

    • The Job holder typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some roles may involve weekend or evening work.
    • This role is largely office-based, as it involves a lot of large data gathering, analysis and reporting.

    Shift Quality Inspector

    Requisition ID: 1946

    Job Purpose

    • To maintain quality standards by ensuring conformity to standard operating procedures, GHP and cGMP and assessing in-process production, finished products and recording the results.  

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
    Quality Control:

    • Maintain Shift continuity and control the shift quality/EHS function until when the RELIVER or DESIGNATE resumes duty
    • Ensure discipline in the department, example: wearing uniform, wearing badges, using of proper tools, and to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
    • Ensure effective co-ordination with all the sections within the department, for effective service to other departments/divisions/units
    • Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area of control at all time
    • Adhere to all the safety and environment regulations within and around the production area
    • Ensure calibration of all the measuring and weighing equipment under direct control of the supply chain division are carried out regularly
    • Ensure and maintain all operations, and assigned technical documents
    • Always ensure strict conformity to cGMP and GHP
    • Develop a measurable standard for assigned materials and processes
    • Ensure conformity of all raw materials and packaging materials to specification before usage at the production shop floor
    • Ensure strict compliance to FC process standards, such as Operation Alert, SIC (Short Interval Control), and carry out on the spot checks on processes and materials before clearance for use/dispatch
    • Report any non-conformity beyond his competence to the superior without assumption
    • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
    • Ensure effective coordination and discipline in the section within the department under supervision by enforcing the use of required PPE
    • Ensure strict compliance to FC process standards, such as Operation Alert, SIC (Short Interval Control), and carry out on the spot checks on processes and materials before clearance for dispatch
    • Verify proper record keeping of all monitoring documents such as SIC and temperature/humidity monitoring charts 
    • Write daily required reports for example; daily, weekly, monthly or any periodic reports and submit to the appropriate authority
    • Whenever required, he/she will cater for regulatory activities with the government agencies
    • Ensure strict adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements
    • Ensure strict adherence to the requirements of the ISO 22000, 9001, 14001 and 45000 as well as other company adopted quality system

    • Rate of Quality and Value delivered to customers

    Job Specifications
    Educational Requirements:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Natural/Physical Science or Manufacturing management is required

    Professional Requirements:

    • Possession of any relevant certification is an added advantage.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Knowledge of quality assurance policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
    • Knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
    • Knowledge of data analysis tools and statistical analysis

    Decision Expectations

    • Executes and oversees inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
    • Hold any non-conforming product or process, in consultation with the line Manager, and in the absence of the line manager, his/her decision shall remain substantive

    Working Conditions:

    • Jobholder typically works 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although this role may involve working overtime and weekends.
    • The role requires precision and attention to detail, as it involves assessing and managing risks.
