    Construction Engineer

    Job Description

    • Construction Engineer will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and serving as the worksite representative for dealings with subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and government inspectors.
    • The construction manager will ensure compliance with all national and local procedures, regulations, and codes, and will provide progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis.Sector: Real Estate

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage parts of construction projects
    • Oversee building work, undertake surveys and setting out sites
    • Ensure technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
    • Supervise contracted staff and ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
    • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
    • Provide technical advice and solving problems on site
    • Prepare site reports and filling in other paperwork
    • Liaise with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
    • Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
    • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
    • Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • First degree in civil Engineering, Civil Engineering or a degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
    • Knowledge of learning and development of best practices.
    • A proven track record of training program development and management.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to think strategically and holistically and to appreciate the systematic impact of various policies, practices, issues and solutions on learning and development.

    Internal Auditor

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
    • Generate ideas to maximize assignment profitability.
    • Identify any gaps in controls and make practical recommendations.
    • Performing audit assignments in compliance with the Government Internal Audit Standards.
    • Identify areas of potential efficiency improvements and gaps in control.
    • Manage financial reporting, risk management, compliance & integrations.
    • Compile reports of audit results to senior managers.
    • Assist in the training and coaching of junior members of staff.

    Qualification & Competence Required:

    • A first degree in Accounting
    • Proven 6-7 years working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Data Analytics experience
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
    • Sound independent judgment

    Remuneration:

    • N300K-N500K Monthly net + other benefits

    Quality Control Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct food safety and facility audits with an eye for safety, sanitation, and product specification assurance
    • Advise plant management team on food safety and food quality standards
    • Collect and maintain inspection reports
    • Develop and maintain facility quality systems
    • Oversee food sanitation and safety
    • Maintain systems for checking and verifying process compliance to SPC, HACCP Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and Formula Control
    • Ensure effective training in food safety and quality control training for plant team members
    • Report findings of quality control audit to the General Manager
    • Troubleshoot food safety and quality issues as they arise

    Qualification & Competencies

    • Bachelor of Science degree, with an emphasis on food science, food engineering, chemistry, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of related experience as a QC officer in the food industry
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
    • Proven leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills
    • Good judgment and ability to make decisions in a timely manner

    Salary: N150k- N350k
