    Community Associate

    About the Role

    • As a Community Associate, you will act as the liaison between Craftmerce and its audience.
    • You will act as the voice, tone, and moderator of the Craftmerce brand through community support, content
    • distribution, and digital engagement to build brand presence and trust, both online and in-person.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop a content marketing plan and editorial calendar.
    • Create engaging and shareable content for a blog, Facebook page, monthly newsletters and/or promotional videos.
    • Provide community feedback to the management and stakeholders.
    • Plan and execute community initiatives and programs.
    • Monitor social media campaigns and analyse web traffic from the online community using key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Find new marketing and outreach opportunities to push the Craftmerce brand image and value proposition.
    • Work with journalists, influencers and PR agencies to ensure accurate brand representation for Craftmerce.
    • Participate in social events, corporate events and workshops.

    Experience Requirements

    • Candidates for this position should have at least 3 years of marketing, content management and publishing experience.
    • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, IG,Twitter, Email Marketing Channels, YouTube and LinkedIn is preferred as they will be managing the company’s accounts and pages on those sites.
    • Knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite is important.
    • Any professional certification is a bonus, but not necessary. Since this is a dynamic field, the candidate also has to stay up to date with developments, changes and trends in the social landscape.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Ability to develop creative, engaging and original content
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Friendly and outgoing personality
    • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and web metrics
    • Proficient in word processing applications, spreadsheets, presentation software and social media management tools
    • Good judgment and problem-solving skills

    • Craftmerce is looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Marketing and Communications team based in Lagos. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly motivated with a strong attention to detail, and has a proven track record of B2B product and growth marketing to meet business objectives.

    Role Specific Job Duties

    • As an Accounts Executive, you’ll develop and lead inbound and outbound Demand Generation campaigns leveraging Account Based Marketing best practices and partner with the sales organization to drive velocity through the funnel and generate more revenue.
    • You’ll be responsible for defining, communicating, executing, and measuring results for cohesive vertical marketing campaigns using a variety of program types and channels. Your strategy will generate and deliver targeted leads that convert to a qualified pipeline in priority industries for the sales development team.
    • This is a great opportunity to use your analytic, demand generation, and omni-channel marketing skills to create market demand to fuel pipeline growth and accelerate leads through the funnel. Create, lead and execute strategic B2B marketing projects with high impact on company revenue - across different channels and countries.


    • 1-3 years experience in B2B sales – whether in online or offline channels – is critical.
    • Passion for commerce, SMB businesses.
    • Experience in Business Development is not a requirement, but it’s a nice-to-have.
    • You are a clear writer and persuasive speaker and are keen on getting better at both.
    • You have a good taste in design and can whip up a good pitch deck.
    • You have experience working with fast-paced teams and are comfortable switching contexts regularly.
    • You have a very experimental mindset, and understand that the work in the pipeline is never truly done, and everything is a funnel.
    • You have a deep sense of ownership of your work, and a high degree of attention to detail.
