    Cleaner and Kitchen Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Properly cleaning and sanitizing all preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
    • Washing and appropriately storing all appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
    • Assisting with the preparation of ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chipping
    • Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
    • Assisting with the unloading of delivered supplies.
    • Organizing and correctly storing supplies.

    Requirements

    • Candidate must possess an SSCE qualification.
    • 0 - 1 year of work experience.
    • Proven experience assisting in kitchen will be an added advantage.
    • The ability to stand for extended periods.
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • The ability to work in a team.

    Salary
    N25,000 - N30,000 monthly

    Bakery Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Plans, organizes and directs day-to-day operations of the food and bakery department, exercising independent judgment and discretion
    • Perform all duties in accordance with all Company policies and programmes and Food Handling procedures.
    • Clearly communicate and consistently enforce department and Company safety policies and procedures.
    • Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
    • Supervise the proper use of all equipment by subordinates including Personal Protective Equipment.
    • Understand and adhere to all procedures in emergency situations.
    • Maintain all temperature logs and production sheets.
    • Set up and maintains a proper cleaning maintenance schedule of entire department.
    • Provide continual training, developmental action planning, and meaningful feedback on job performance to other staff.
    • Maintain an open line of communication and work cooperatively with all internal and external customers.
    • Lead staff to work cooperatively while encouraging enthusiasm, loyalty, and creativity.
    • Ensure all reports and records are accurate, complete and retained in accordance with Company policy.
    • Ensure the quality of all product received and secure properly in appropriate storage areas.
    • Ensure the accuracy of item pricing, item locator and shelf allocation.

    Job Requirements

    • Must possess a Degree in Food Science and Technology.
    • Requires 1 - 3 years experience in similar role.
    • Requires working knowledge of all job duties and performs those job duties as required.
    • Requires strong communication skills, good leadership and interpersonal skills, the proven ability to manage people, and the ability to maintain professional demeanor in dealing with customers and co-workers.
    • Must have knowledge of product variety, bakery standards, perishability, food safety, safety and sanitation procedures and department policies and procedures.
    • Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
    • Requires strong communication skills, good leadership and interpersonal skills, the proven ability to manage people and maximize productivity. Must maintain professional demeanor in dealing with customers, vendors and co-workers.
    • Requires the ability to judge and react to business activity.

    Facilities and Logistics Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Support and advise on logistic operations activities of the Operations.
    • Support and coaches Logistics Unit on a timely and cost-efficient delivery of tasks and duties.
    • Prepare the logistics movement reports.
    • Supervise, guide and train (new) logistics personnel on proper management and record keeping.
    • Support and advise on transport requirements; duties of drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, recording log-books and maintenance and repair/recovery of vehicles, among other related activities.
    • Work in close collaboration with every department for the maintenance of office premises and related office equipment and vehicles.
    • Ensure that office premises are maintained and necessary repairs and maintenance (e.g. electricity, water supply, etc.) are carried out in a timely manner.
    • Perform other duties as and when assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • First Degree from a recognized institution of learning.
    • Technical and Professional expertise of 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in facilities and logistics.
    • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
    • Communication and problem solving skills.
